Wonderful setting and exceptional staff and riding instructors. The free range horses and dogs and cat add to the sense of tranquility. Large enough for children to make friends but small enough to avoid ever feeling crowded. Thanks for such an enjoyable stay. We'll be back!

Perfect 1 night stop over on way to main stop but wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely situation, horses roaming the grounds, lovely pool. Good delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful! Had a horse riding lesson there which was excellent Rooms are rustic and basic. Overall couldn't recommend this place enough though.

We really loved it there, it was very special and def worth a recco! Free running horses in the whole hotel area which made it fun and quite unusual in a very positive way! Dinner was good, you sit with all guests at a big table and also Betty the guest manager was part of it. Staff was super nice.... More

Still in Sardinia we really miss this wonderful place. We felt really welcome and all the staff were great. We had exellent lessons with Stefano and a shorter trip as our youngest daughter is 8 years. Stefano is the best teacher especially with kids. We did the beach ride with Paola and Michele and it was wonderful. The horses are... More

My husband and I had a holiday at Mandra Edera last year which we both found delightful. Although I am a horse owner and have been a rider for many years, he was virtually a complete novice and a veteran one at that. His review of that holiday ( more of an ecstatic essay really) appears elsewhere and I dare... More

Just come back and would recommend Mandra. Horses were well cared for, very nice temperament and of different standards so something to suit everyone. I had a total beginner 16 year old and an experienced 14 year old - both happy with their horses. The long full week trips away from the hotel by horse sounded fantastic. You really got... More

Although difficult to find, especially at night, it's worth the try. A hidden gem, with good, clean rooms, plenty of hot water, lovely grounds and good food. The staff are the icing on the cake, from Betty (Manager) who certainly "goes the extra mile", downwards. Nothing seemed too much trouble, excellent English spoken (& many other languages too), and always... More

Had a wonderful 4 day break at the hotel. A friendly and informative greeting from Betty set the scene- she was a mine of really useful information, telling us the best places to go to and highlighting them on a map for us, and gave a tour of the grounds, introducing us to the dogs, cats and ponies ( a... Location: this beautiful hotel is situated in the central Sardinia - in Abbasanta. You can reach it, by the car, in aprox. one hour from Alghero airport and one and a half hour from the Oblia aiprort. The best choice is to rent a car at the airport. Hotel: small, nice, pleasant, calm and really beautiful with amazing garden, pool... More
