My boyfriend and I greatly enjoyed our recent stay at the Hotel Monteconero and we plan to return. This place is so wonderful and relaxing. Located high above the city of Sirolo, it is a perfect place to “get away from it all” – without being too isolated. It is only a 10-minute drive to the city center, which has... More

Very nice and beautifully located hotel - got upgarded to a suite on arrival (much appreciated), rooms cool and quiet, pool cool and welcoming! Had one dinner which was tasty and breakfast each morning on the terrace overlooking the panoramic vista was worth every penny! Staff very friendly and willing to help. Would recommend and return.

This hotel on the site of an old convent is in a stunning location with breathtaking views over the coastline and turquoise sea. We had a large bedroom and sitting room (both with balconies and stunning views) with ensuite bathroom with shower. The staff were very friendly, although it helped that my wife speaks Italian. The location and general ambience... More

You arrive at the hotel after a uphill serpentine road in beautiful scenery. Entering the property is impressive with the tree alley. Then the first view on the in-court, the chapel and all these massive pots with tons of flowers. You are totally charmed. Courteous reception team ... cleand and simple rooms. Views are stunning. And the " sound of... More

Found this jewel by surprise, on the internet the nightbefore and it was much more beautiful when we saw it. We had a puppy with us and everyone was welcoming and helpful. The location is excellent, the views are stunning, the rooms are simple and clean and with all the amenities and beautiful terraces with wonderful views. The staff were... More

The hotel is on Monteconero, above Sirolo. It is a second and third gear climb on a good road for several kilometers. The hotel itself is a converted abbey with a delightful Romanesque church in the center courtyard. Many of the rooms have stunning views looking south down the Adriatic coast, as well as towards the interior and distant mountains.... More

Ok, so you .... you're probably touring around, have a vehicle, maybe a motorcycle ... you're going to Ancona to catch the ferry OR you're travelling up the coast of Italy with no real plans (Italy is wonderful that way). You find this hotel online, maybe see in a brochure ... and it sounds great, so you call and book... More

Whilst the room we had was a little basic, and there is a bit of faded grandeur about the place, this is a very special and lovely hotel. The views are stunning, really beautiful, the hotel is comfortable and homely, and the beaches nearby are great too (steep climb so get fit for before you get here!). The food is... More

Our room was pleasant, but the view from the room was amazing and made the stay wonderful. This former monastery, now a hotel, is located on top of a small mountain. The windows to our small balcony looked out over the countryside and down to the sea. The view was just spectacular. The breakfast, which came with the room, was... More
