We (my husband, 2 sons ages 11 and 8 and I) stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is located about a 5 minutes walk from the Lechmere T station and 10 minutes from a large mall (Galleria). There is also a small shopping mall consisted of a supermarket, Marshall's and a few other stores right next to... more

The owners don't appear to be putting much into this place. Everything is quite dated and only one very slow elevator was working. That being said, the rooms were clean and adequate. The breakfast was fairly good with the availability of scrambled eggs, sausage patty, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and the usual bakery fare. The 'T' stop is a bit... more

First the good points. Well placed, with a easy five minute walk to the T. Another five minute walk gets you to a decent mall. Don't be put off by the neighborhood - its perfectly safe. The rooms are spacious and well kept - though the bathroom is on the small size. The room also came with a microwave, small... more

This hotel is kind of shabby. The elevator didn't always work, the toasters at breakfast didn't work and so on. The parking lot is very difficult to get in and out of; you can only go one direction on the highway when leaving. The other Holiday Inn in Somerville near by is much nicer. I think it would be worth... more

We found this place several years ago and stay there every year when my husband runs the Boston Marathon. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The heat is almost silent. There is usually no problem finding a parking spot unless everyone staying there shows up with a car, then you have to park next door... more

This Holiday Inn Express in Cambridge, MA and the one we stayed in in White River Junction, VT both had less food at breakfast than ones I'm familiar with in the Midwest. Specifically, there was no fresh fruit. (Maybe bananas?) There were two computers in the lobby which we were able to use with no wait or a very short... more

Breakfast was eggs, breads, sausage, yogurt. Personable staff. Limited, free parking. Could be a problem if you get in too late. Extra parking across the street @ liquor store. Mile and a half walk to MIT. Our non smoking room smelled OK. Near small restaurants. Not a late night neighborhood. Looks a bit run down but Safe residential area. more

We wanted accomodations convenient to the T as we would be going into Boston for several days for events at the TD Banknorth Garden and did not want to be driving in the city. The T is within easy walking distance, maybe 5 minutes from the hotel. Be sure to ask the T attendent for a Charlie card so you... more

Booked 2 rooms for 7 people (incl 3 small kids) and were able to get them right across the hall from each other. (Not always easy to do in a big city we've found.) Only 3 blocks from the Lechmere T Station, so it was incredibly convenient to downtown Boston. Rooms were roomy and very clean. Breakfast was pretty good,... more

The hotel is located near a very busy main road and the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. However, the service is warm, and the room was spacious and clean. Walkable distance to Lechmere T-station (about 10mn). Breakfast was included in the rate and we were told at check-in that it's from 6:30 to 9:30am (the service directory in the room... more
