I just returned from a three day conference being held at the Royal Sonesta. I was very impressed with the excellent service and friendliness from the front desk, doormen, and even the parking gate attendants at the end of my stay. Room was extremely clean and bed with extraordinary comfortable pillows were the best. All staff was very attentive to... more

I booked a hotel reservation for 3 days on Sonesta's online reservation website. I was promised a rate of $105 per night. The website indicated no penalty for shortening the reservation. When I checked in, I indicated that I was staying for 3 instead of 2 days. The clerk agreed and I signed a slip indicating the rate would be... more

This was our first stay at a Sonesta hotel. Unfortunately, it will be our last too. The hotel is definitely not worthy of four stars. First the positives. Located across the street from Galleria mall, rooms have an LCD TV with nice picture, the beds are very comfy, we had a good restful sleep, free wireless internet in rooms, room... more

We were without power at home due to a terrible ice storm which hit New England on December 10. We couldn't stand the thought of another cold night in our dark house, so we took the kids to the Sonesta on December 11 . The evening started off ok - decent food in the Art Bar cafe, hot shower, nice... more

Arrived at Royal Sonesta on December 26 2008. Were greeted by the most pleasant hotel staff ever from the car park attendants to the hotel manager! Our room was spacious, had wonderful views, the comfiest beds, great flat screen tv and immaculate! Granted we did not really use the mini bar we just brought in drinks and popped them in... more

We decided to stay in a four star hotel for three days of our week long Christmas vacation in the Boston area. Only stay here If you are into contemporary art, being charged for absolutely everything from $5.50 bottled water in room, to unreal rates in the hotel restaurants ($107 dining for two - nothing special). The hotel shuttle doesn't... more

Stayed here in December and had a nice stay. I was traveling for business and my husband came along for a few days of R&R. The first room we had was in the east tower and there was no bathtub so we asked to be moved to a room with a tub. We were moved to the west tower and... more

The staff was very friendly and courteous. They upgraded our room to a riverview because it was my sister's birthday and they weren't sold out. Very nice touch! The room was lovely with wonderful bedding. The view was exquisite-looking right at the Science Museum and boats docked. The walking trail is convenient and we were able to grab dinner and... more

I had stayed at this Royal Sonesta previously in 2004 and 2005 for business. I so enjoyed my stay at that time, that I returned during a recent business trip. The hotel is in a great location and is very beautiful. Most of the staff was courteous, but not exceptional. This hotel is not conducive for the serious business traveler.... more
