Hotel was actually on the less expensive end compared to other hotels in the Boston/Cambridge area. Amenities were good, service was friendly and overall value was good. more

I first stayed here 23 years ago and returned with fond memories. But this hotel is in need of a facelift. The room we occupied for 2 nights was a good deal through Hotwire. But the rugs were stained, with more strange stains in the bathroom. The public areas are a little time-worn. Service was good and the restaurant/bar faces... more

I've stayed at the Hyatt Cambridge at least 6 times since the Spring of '09 - why you ask? I am a diamond member of Hyatt's frequency program and the hotel is a short drive from my company's corporate office in Newton, MA. So, first let me spill the beans on what every one else on TA has been saying... more

This hotel was very nice, but parking is 35.00 extra per day. Kind pricey. No free continental breakfast, in fact breakfast is expensive. We had lesser hotels provide much nicer services. more

Location is not near anything and shuttle will drop you off but not pick you up. Free parking from 6 pm to 8am at the end of the block (in front of MIT police station) so don,t pay for parking. Doorman recommended an irish pub for dinner if we would walk 1 mile and it was terrific. Walking at night... more

Where should I start. I checked in and asked for a non smoking room, however, ended up with smoking. Moved to another room. Walked in and there were dirty towels on the bed, dirty bed sheets and toothpaste in the sink. I then was moved to a higher floor. Smoking room next to me that penetrated the air duct to... more

Hello, My name is Michael Hickey and I am the General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. Thank you for your honest comments regarding your recent stay. I apologize for the difficulty you had obtaining a satisfactory room. We only have one floor in the entire hotel where smoking is permitted, so it appears from your comments that the first...

We booked this room on Priceline, so the rate was pretty good for Boston/Cambridge, but the hotel isn't near anything, so you have to take a taxi just about anywhere (there is a Starbucks and Trader Joes about 10-15 min walk east on Memorial Drive). On weekdays there is a bus to and from the T station at Kendall Square,... more

The property is located directed on the Charles River, offering fantastic views of Boston from many of the rooms. The flip side of the location, however, is that it is brisk walk to the T/subway. The hotel provides a shuttle which seems to need advance notice and was not particularly reliable, even after being booked. Staff is generally well intentioned... more

Needed a hotel room in Cambridge, and this is what we got from a bid for a 3.5 star on Priceline. The room was OK (nothing fancy), but the parking cost almost as much as the hotel room. And if you stay here you'll need a car.... it's not close to anything. So either have friends drop you off, or... more

I ended up staying at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge for Harvard Reunion because my friend and I didn't decide until pretty late in the game our housing arrangements. It worked out great. Yes, the location is convenient if you are ok taking cabs or have time to get to the T, but it's not in the prettiest location. That said,... more
