I paid ~325 USD for room&tax per night and for this money I would expect a better cost-benefit ratio: - WiFi was not included and was another 18 USD per day - Neither breakfast nor any snacks were included, however, there is a restaurant & a starbucks in the hotel which is convenient - bottled water in the room was... This Marriott is located so conveniently that I gave it 4 stars. The Metro (T) is right outside their front door for the Red Line. And three different tourist trolleys stop right across the street. There are very nice restaurants located within easy walking distance, and Harvard and MIT are very close, as well. Even thought the hotel was in... More

This hotel perfectly suited my needs. I stayed with my boyfriend for the weekend, and enjoyed everything about it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant Champions on site is clean and had delicious food. Our room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We ordered room service for breakfast, which was... More

For the most part, I was very happy with my stay here. It's a great hotel, excellent location, I was working in the Microsoft facility down the block so very handy if you're heading there. First off, check in was straight forward, very polite staff, also very helpful, I had to send a large package using a courier which they... More

Dear M_Uraijah: I was disappointed to read that your recent stay at the Boston Marriott Cambridge was not perfect. I can understand your concerns with the sink not working properly in your room, and I regret that my staff was not able to correct the problem during your stay. Your experience was below Marriott standards and I hope you will... More

This is a typical Marriott property and did not disappoint. Our room was on the 24th (?) floor and had a view overlooking the river with Fenway Park in the distance. That was cool! The price was reasonable, although looking later, pretty typical for the area. A little cheaper than downtown Boston, and close to MIT, Harvard Square, and out... More

You expect Marriott's to be consistent. Clean, reliable, basic amenities. Marriott Cambridge gives Motel from Hell a run for it's money. During a recent 4 night stay: 1 Room was not ready. Promised "go for a walk, we'll call when ready". Guess who never called 2 Sink was clogged and needed service call 3 Called for room to be made... More

I was visiting MIT and this hotel was suggested as a primary choice. The location is excellent, where there is an MBTA station right in front of the hotel. MIT is within walking distance. The lobby was not big enough - it would be crowded if the hotel held an event. There is a Starbucks at the ground floor of... More

This is my third stay at the Marriot Cambridge and things have remained the same. This visit encountered construction as the lobby of the hotel was being remodeled. Its location right across the street from MIT and proximity to the subway system (Kendell Square stop on the Red Line) is its saving grace. For such a large hotel, the lack... More

Thank you for staying at the Boston Marriott Cambridge. I was disappointed to read about your stay with us. I can understand your preference for a more firm mattress and for a more upscale restaurant. I apologize for not meeting your expectations in that regard. Although Champions may not be your preferred venue, we are fortunately located in an area... More

If your stay in Boston has your covering a lot of ground in via the T (their subway), then this Marriott is a nice option. It sits on top (literally) of the Kendall station off the Red Line. If they still offer a “breakfast included” rate, it is good value (especially on a weekend when the concierge lounge is closed).
