The hotel is immaculate. Maybe not so modern. Outdoor plantings were beautiful. Some front desk folks were incredibly friendly and helpful. Some were the polar opposite. On this particular trip I ended up needing a little extra assistance because of an unexpected illness. They did not provide the help I requested. The free shuttle is great. The primary driver is... This was an unexpected last minute business trip during a week when most hotels were completely booked in Boston area. I stumbled across Best Western Tria day of and was able to plead with the desk attendant to please hold the room for ten minutes for me to get approval from my supervisor to book which he graciously did. It... More

From the time we signed in to signing out our every need was meet. The Front desk went out of their way to make sure our visit and the tours we went on where something to remember and come back for more. A proper room for breakfast and always someone there to make sure the food was replenished. A short... More

Our family takes at least one vacation out of Canada every year. This year was even more exciting as we dropped our son at Harvard for the summer and vacationed as a couple first time in many years. Hotel tria was a perfect home base, we saw Boston highlights and there are many, travelled subway with ease, rented a car... More

Background: We are Americans who pursue an active lifestyle, appreciate functional and clean lodging with easy-in and easy-out access. We avoid grand hotels and approach chains with care. Notable positives (in no particular order): excellent front staff, good shuttle service to and from Harvard Square, good breakfast included, contemporary linens, clean room, lots of counter space in the bathroom, lots... We recently stayed at the Tria for Three Nights and our stay was nothing special. There must be something about Best Western beds because they are not the most comfortable to sleep in. My wife slept poorly. The staff was very nice, just wish they would have told us how close the Alewife station was, it would have saved us... More

This hotel is located a short distance from the Alewife T station. While we were mainly focused on a softball tournament, we did take an evening to go into Boston. Very easy. Hotel staff was friendly, and assisted us whenever we asked.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was the best a hotel has ever provided to us. It included home fries, eggs, bacon, waffles and plenty more. They have legit chefs prepping that breakfast. The rooms are fine and location ok. Although I heard the shuttle to the T was questionable, it was on time and simple as... More

The Best Western Tria is an adequate place to stay in its price range--nice desk staff and a clean, comfortable room and bath with sufficient lighting and towels, two areas where hotels of this type often skimp. We didn't have a car and had to rely on the shuttle to the T stop (it's walkable, but it was too hot... More

My two sisters, brother and I went to visit family out East and wanted to see Boston. We stayed at the Best Western Plus Hotel Tria in Cambridge, MA., before we proceeded on to Connecticut. We were very impressed and thoroughly satisfied with our stay at Hotel Tria. It was such a pleasant experience. The hotel staff were so helpful... More
