We were looking for a fairly inexpensive hotel close to MIT and Harvard that wasn't $300 - Hotel Tria was perfect. Comfortable clean room, very good breakfast, and about 5 miles to colleges and Harvard Square. The shuttle driver was very friendly and timely - drove us to Harvard Square and returned when we were finished dinner. Would definitely recommend!

Convenient, nice staff, clean rooms and a great shuttle. Close to shops and some restaurants, and not far from Harvard Square. Price is a bit high during the Head of the Charles, but so is every other hotel in Cambridge. Have stayed at this hotel more than once during the rowing event.

We stayed at the hotel last weekend as a home base for college visits. It was in a very convenient location for the schools we were visiting as well as restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We checked in late in the evening and were greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Our room was clean and we slept well although I... More

Stayed 2 nights at this Hotel. It had a Starbucks but it really was nothing special. Staff was friendly and the parking is free if you book directly with the Hotel. You have to take a hard right on a circle and almost got t-boned everytime we tried to get into the parking lot from the traffic coming on to... More

This is one nicest Best Westerns I have stayed at. Friendly staff, great location. Whole foods is right next to the Hotel and there is a Starbucks attached so you don't have to walk out to get your Starbucks fix!

The location of this hotel is fabulous. I would love to stay there for my son's graduation from college this spring as it is convenient to everything I want (or need), including stores, movies and my bank. But, I was surprised to see that the normal rates for this hotel equalled those of the Cambridge Marriott and Le Meridian considering... More

My husband and I frequent the Cambridge area, and this hotel has excellent access to Massachusetts Ave, Harvard, MIT, Leslie University, and trendy shops and restaurants, etc. The hotel itself is very well kept, inviting, and the breakfast is hot, good, and plentiful. We have stayed here more than once, and we will definitely stay here again when the need... More

If I had it to do over again, I'd stay at Club Quarters in the financial district, but at the time of booking I didn't know CQ existed (and was not familiar with Boston). We landed at Logan around 6 pm and by the time we took Super Shuttle to Tria it was past 8 pm. (We needed a place... More

All hotels in the area are overpriced. This hotel is less overpriced than most, and, given that, provides decent value and is solid in all ways. The buffet breakfast and the shuttles to Harvard Square and the T stop are pluses.

First, the hotel options in Cambridge are limited, and often very expensive. The positives-- clean room, friendly front desk staff, full Starbucks connected to hotel. The not-so-positives-- bathroom could use some updating, my door didn't close properly, no plug at the desk, WiFi connection was horrible. It looks like some surface updates were completed in the bathroom, but the work... More
