This was my first time at a Kimpton hotel and this experience definitely makes me want to try others in the chain. Everyone was so nice and helpful from the valet to the front desk and everywhere in between. The hotel was very modern and chic everywhere in addition to the room. The room was huge, very nice, and clean.... More

This hotel is located right next to Harvard and MIT and a couple of blocks from the Green Subway Line, so you can easily get to downtown Boston. Rooms are nice and clean. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. If you are one to shop, this hotel is attached to the local mall with an underground walkway. Perfect... More

This is the 5th or 6th Kimpton I've stayed at this year. and if there was a way to give it a 4.5 rating or even a bit higher, except for one big issue which I'll get to, it's a 5 star property. Like all kimpton's the rooms are comfortable and designed to please anyone who loves pattern on pattern.... More

Thanks for sharing your feedback, I appreciate your candid comments...and yes, it really is a great place to work! As for the smoking, definitely not experience we want and we've already put a plan into motion to eliminate this issue moving forward. Surprisingly, this is the first time that I can recall this being commented, so thank you for bringing... More

Just a one night stay -- but was very happy with room, beds and service. Had a great dinner at the restaurant too. Conveniently attached to a mall if that's your thing. Right next to a river for a pleasant stroll.

Like the other Kimpton hotels, this hotel is upscale. The room was very nice, with comfortable beds. The "happy hour" was skimpy (served small slices of pizza with wine). I had to request a newspaper (they had the NY Times and the Globe). The location is adjacent to a shopping mall and about a block from the Charles River. There... More

Thanks for sharing, I appreciate your feedback. Our wine reception is something we do to socialize with our guests over a glass of wine and a nibble of something from our restaurant. The hope is that it entices you to come dine with us in Bambara, but clearly we missed the mark with you and I am so sorry about... More

We have stayed here twice, once in January for a concert at the TD Garden and again this past weekend when we were picking up our daughter from college. From the time you arrive, whether by car or walking from the nearby T stop, the entire staff is welcoming and makes you feel right at home. If you bring your... More

And we love you right back! Thanks for continuing to stay with us and pointing out all of the "wellness" offerings we have at the Hotel. We have almost 20 bikes available (complimentary) for our guests, in room yoga mats and even a #RunWithTheGM program that you join yours truly for a nice 4 mile jog along the Charles River.... More

We stay at the Marlowe frequently when we travel to Boston to visit family. Each visit is a delight from the time we step out of the car and are greeted by the Valet. The front desk is unfailingly upbeat, welcoming and very helpful! The rooms are lovely and comfortable.

A bright, modern hotel with very friendly staff who know the area and really got into the mood for the Boston Marathon. "Wine o'clock" every day, and for the more virtuous, weekly morning runs along the running path around the Charles River (right over the road from the hotel). Also a decent little gym if you prefer to exercise inside.... More

Stayed here a couple nights for business with meetings held at the hotel. Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. The Marlowe also has some of the nicest staff I've encountered at a hotel. The meeting spaces and food offered there were very nice too. I highly recommend this hotel.
