Upon arrival, we parked in the attached underground garage the hotel shares with a shopping mall. With three kids in tow, we went to the front desk and checked in. I was told I wasn't allowed to take a luggage cart to the garage due to "liability issues." The front desk attendant promised to call our room "in about five... more

Arrived at the hotel by taxi, but could not get close enough to the front door to get the bell staff's attention. Our bags were dumped in the driveway and I had to walk around the chaos in front of the door to check in before we could get some help with our luggage. Front desk and bell staf were... more

Stayed here with my teenage son for a Saturday night in Boston to attend a Red Sox game, I had gotten an excellent rate through an email after signing up as a member on Kimpton's website. The location in lower Cambridge is most convenient to downtown Boston, as you can drive it in a few minutes. Parking, although for a... more

I read the reviews of the hotel before we arrived and expected to be disappointed - I figured there was no way the hotel could live up to the hype -- but I was wrong! The place was amazing. Nice rooms and awesome customer service. The service was worthy of a five star hotel. Every person we met was friendly... more

I booked this hotel for 3 nights as part of a family vacation based on TripAdvisor reviews, but 4 incidents during my visit left a sour taste: 1) When I tried to check in, the clerk at the front desk repeatedly insisted that I had called in that morning and canceled the reservation because of a delayed flight. He didn’t... more

I recently stayed at Hotel Marlowe to attend a friend's wedding, and overall I was very happy with my stay. The room was very well kept, although they give you TINY pillows (I know that sounds weird, but seriously they are not much bigger than a regular sheet of paper) so if you have any back or neck problems be... more

I stayed at the Marlowe between the 13th and 18th May during an around the world holiday. This was my first visit to Boston and I chose the Marlowe because of its #1 Trip Advisor rating and it represented awesome value for money when compared to the Downtown and Back Bay Hotels. I love walking and therefore had no problems... more

I have stayed here twice while visiting our Cambridge office. The hotel is beautiful and very plush. The decor is modern but warm and sumptuous without being fussy. Leopard skin prints, red and gold stripes, stars and lots of great little pleasing touches. I would describe it as modern, clean Kitsch. I love this hotel and at $250 for a... more

Easy check in, clean rooms, nice robes. Good Fitness Center. Awesome complimentary wine hour and coffee/tea in the morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You can use thier kayaks in the Charles River, which was really fun. Also being attached to the Cambridgeside Galleria was great for Starbucks, Cheesecake Factory etc if you are hungry. Great hotel. more
