Kendall Hotel is a hotel with a unique atmosphere. The historic house, the use of old furniture and spaces that exist make the ambience is cozy and warm. Spent 10 nights at this hotel for business and family holidays, make this hotel feels like home. Terrace in front of the hotel for breakfast is a convenient place to start the... More

My mother, my sister and I made a visit to Cambridge recently to attend an event. We were delighted with the Kendall Hotel and definitely recommend it. Besides the charming interior, full of interesting historical stuff, the staff are exceptional. Delisa was warm and friendly and so helpful, as was the fantastic manager. The breakfasts are yummy and the restaurant... More

I had an excellent experience both times I was there. The hotel is one of the historical buildings and it is a family owned so you can get a very pleasant experience instead of the regular hotel chains. Cristopher at the reception was really nice and helpful in providing directions, recommendations besides taking good care of guests.

My husband & I wanted to take a long weekend for our five-year anniversary. We picked Boston & The Kendall Hotel was perfect for our get away! It's a beautifully unique boutique hotel in Cambridge. It is close to the red line (MIT/Kendall station) which makes it easy to get anywhere in the city. Reservationist Beverly Doughty was delightful &... More

When you travel a lot, hotels tend to blur -- all the trendy boutique hotels seem alike, as do the big brown boxy chain hotels. The Kendall was a refreshing change. Located in an old brick fire house across from Kendall station on the Red Line and the MIT Co-op bookstore, the Kendall Hotel has a personality all its own.... More

Great location for MIT and Kendall station on the Red line. The hotel was very sweet with great personality and the staff was very friendly. This hotel is on the list of Historic Hotels of America and used to be a fire station. The adjoining restaurant was nice for wine/cocktails in the evening and the hotel is close to other... More

Yes that's how they make you feel at the Kendall. Like a King! We checked into the hotel at 2am because our flight was very late. The front desk clerk was still very friendly and informative. He put us in a great room with comfy beds and beautiful and quirky decor. The history behind this hotel is fascinating! It's a... More

I loved this hotel. It is in Cambridge which is a little out of the way if you want downtown Boston but it is only 15 minutes in a cab and it is much cheaper than mid Boston. This hotel is in an old Fire Station and is packed with 'fire' memorabilia and knick knacks. The rooms are clean and... More

The Kendall offers a nice boutique experience in a great location. I must say that after reading the reviews I was slightly underwhelmed. This is a nice hotel, with some quirky features, but it failed to wow me. I found the staff to be a bit inconsistent, some were really nice, but some quite ignorant. The bedrooms are nice, with... Thank you for sharing your experience. I am pleased your overall stay was pleasant and am sorry to read that our breakfast buffet did not exceed your expectations. The owners of the Kendall believe that all of our food should be fresh, locally sourced when possible, and free of preservatives -- our eggs are freshly cracked each morning (not egg... More

I have stayed here a few times over the years and I love it. The atmosphere is so warm and enjoyable, I feel like I am in a classic B&B. The Kendall sits right next to a subway stop so getting here from the airport and getting around Boston is incredibly easy. Can't wait to return!
