Not luxury, but very comfortable, warm and friendly staff, antique furnitures, cosy atmosphere. Very convenient location, with lots of good food nearby, and bookstores in the neighbourhood. We had a rare power outage due to flooding during our stay but the hotel was very nice about it and have us a gift voucher to make up, along with a nice... More

This hotel has a lot of character, is quiet and also convenient. I originally wanted to stay close to Harvard Square for a meeting I had but my first choices were fully booked. I decided to take a bet that the Kendall's location to the underground (called T-stop) would get me to my meeting on time, and I'm so glad... More

Right next to MIT and its T-stop this is a charming, comfortable hotel that lends a personal touch at every turn. Every room has character and homey touches that provide a feeling of cosiness and comfort. Love the extra blankets and historic touches. I needed some re-booking help and we had a few small requests that were handled beautifully by... More

I am so pleased to read that you enjoyed the Kendall and our very personalized service -- we are such a unique oasis in our high tech neighborhood. I am sorry the elevator. We recently upgraded the cab and one of the new mechanical parts was defective. Of course, as “Murphy’s Law” would go, this happened Friday night and the... More

This was by far my best stay in the Cambridge/Boston area in the past 10 years (and I travel there 4-5 times an year). The place feels different from the moment you enter the door, all the way till check out. The hotel has charm, staying there, I felt I was hosted, rather than simply business. The rooms were huge... Everything was perfect during our one-night stay and I would happily return to this hotel. Check-in with Alix was quick and efficient; good policy for parking, very comfortable bed. Highlights are the historical appointments in the room as well as portraits from various decades in the hallways. Excellent robes, shower head and large sink. Breakfast was amazing, with hot choices... More

We stayed here for two nights during our New England trek over Thanksgiving week. This hotel is in a perfect location, very close to MIT (1 block from T stop). We had stayed the previous night in Boston (for much more $$), and it was not as convenient as this place. As a bonus, the hop-on-hop-off trolley tour stops almost... More

It is so nice to read your comments about your stay at The Kendall Hotel. Most people do think Cambridge is so far away from Boston. While some parts of Cambridge, like the Harvard Square area is much further, tKendall Square is located right where Cambridge meets Boston and as you pointed out, closer to many points of interest than... Nice stay. Quiet area not much going (thats good!). The T (train) is just a few blocks away around $30 per person you can ride anywhere all week. We did not use the car again. Excellent breakfast. We stayed there in November and the place was always very warm, yes odd thing to mention, you only need a sheet to... More

Stayed 2 nights at the Kendall. Beautifully styled with a lot of attention to detail in each room we went into. Lobby and in room internet - easy to access. Breakfast included which is decent quality. Support close to Kendall subway station so really easy to get around Boston and Cambridge.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. I had problems connecting to the internet in my room, however, Beverly was very attentive and went out of her way to do the best she could for me. Furthermore, I needed some printing done and Meg was very helpful and had... More
