Lovely little hotel in Cambridge in the midst of the MIT campus. So many interesting displays of toys, china, art work on each and every floor and the lobby. Our room was comfortable with a king size bed, large flat screen TV, desk and sofa that pulled out to a bed (we did not use that). More than enough outlets... More

We stayed at the Kendall for 8 nights and as soon as we arrived knew that our lengthy stay would be enjoyable and comfortable. This is as perfect a hotel experience as I've ever had. Our bedroom was roomy and the bed very comfortable. A bonus was that there was a fridge in the room as well as a coffee... More

This is my favorite hotel in Cambridge, without a doubt, because it is not at all a cookie-cutter kind of place. It is a converted fire engine station, that has been decorated with the owners' collection of art (mostly folk art, mostly from New England), all pulled together in a way that is charming, interesting, and totally one-of-a-kind. Their taste... More

I chose the Kendall because of its proximity to a restaurant at which a group of my cousins were having a reunion. I did not expect to find a perfect jewel, elegantly decorated with fire house memorabilia, comfortable, extremely friendly and, well, perfect. The staff could not be better, and the complimentary breakfast is an amazing bonus (the scrambled eggs... More

Really nice and unique hotel on MIT campus! Comfortable rooms and great dining at The Black Sheep. Very close to Kendall Red line on T. We stayed here for 3 nights over the marathon weekend. The hotel features breakfast each morning, but the morning of the marathon they had bagels and drinks out for the runners at 5am. Nice touch.... More

This hotel is amazing. In a previous life it was a Fire Station and memorabilia abounds. The staff in the kitchen and room service are second to none. They are friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the personnel on the front desk who even over the phone did not seem... More

We picked The Kendall Hotel having read a few on-line reviews, but had no expectations as what we would discover upon arriving. Upon arriving we discovered a fantastic boutique hotel, beautifully decorated, with a nice restaurant, bar & friendly staff. The room was very comfortable, with unique features, huge beds with super luxurious bedding and furniture, a great bathroom, great... More

Nicely decorated and quirkly styled boutique type hotel. Found the room to be clean and quiet. Parking was fairly expensive at $30, and the tiny garage was overbooked and we had to park out on the street. However the complimentary breakfast was great. Lots of healthy options and all lovely fresh and well cooked.

Stayed here for 5 days while visiting tech companies in Cambridge. The location is fantastic, really in the center of MIT and the tech community, as well right next to the Kendall square T stop. Room was OK sized and comfortably furnished. Lots of good quality in-room coffee. Staff are very nice and helpful, especially the woman who runs the... More

This hotel is a little gem. Easily accessed by the T (train/subway/tube) from the airport. Taxi is approximately $30. The quaint hotel is very charming, bright mix of contemporary and vintage fire station. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and spacious. We had hair dryer, ironing board and iron, robs, toiletries and mini-fridge. Wifi is free throughout the hotel which is... More
