All hotels in Cambridge are pricey - this one was a little less than most of the others, so I didn't expect as good an experience as I had. The bed was incredibly comfortable, staff was nice and helpful, the continental breakfast was decent, and there's a washer and dryer on the premises (which I always appreciate). It's right across... more

There were four of us (me, wife, brother, mother), and we selected this hotel because it was one of very few hotels offering two queen beds. Location (Cambridge) was both bad and good. Bad because it's not in Boston nor near any Cambridge highlights, but good because it's a one-block walk to the Lechmere 'T' (subway) station, which is one... more

We stayed here for three nights the last weekend in May using Hilton points. Pros: Lechmere T station across the street, queen size beds, guest laundry, staff was friendly and helpful, room was quiet. Cons: Room was small. We have two teenagers so we were a little cramped. Other: Breakfast was average for a Hampton Inn. Internet in room is... more

We spent a weekend at this Hampton Inn but didn't find it meeting traditional brand standards. The bathroom was not clean, rug was stained, room was noisy, and the price of $150+ each night was about $70 too much. The staff was pleasant, breakfast meet expectation, location was very close to the Lechmere T station, three block area had a... more

Stayed here in the summer of 08 for 3 days and though its not as nice as most Hampton’s, all was fine. Stayed here in Jan. 09 and woke up with red marks and bruises from scratching on my stomach that looked like bite marks. Fled the hotel and when I went downstairs the desk clerk Greg was completely dismissive,... more

Stayed in this Hampton Inn and the Fairfield Inn, Newark Airport one week apart, so I think I can offer a fair comparison of the two. I'd rate them about equal - I'd give Hampton an edge for bedding materials, possibly Fairfield a slight edge for breakfast offerings. Overall I was very pleased with both - I normally lean towards... more

Spent two evenings at the Hampton Inn Cambridge in December for a business meeting. Everything was great except for one thing: the fan in the room seemed to be a spare off of a 737. The first night, it would wake me up every time it kicked in, sending the drapes flying. The second night, I turned the heat all... more

We've stayed here before and probably will again. We paid for the weekend package of $149 per night for Friday and Saturday (plus onerous taxes that are not HI's responsibility). The important thing about the price is that it includes free parking at a location that is practically across the street from a T station that is only a few... more

The Hampton Inn at Cambridge, MA is located across the street from the Lechmere T station. Also there is no charge for underground parking. Breakfast was very good, with lots of selections. Great location for touring Boston and nearby Salem and Concord. more

We stayed 2 nights and my only problem is that there is no pool. Otherwise the rooms were very clean, comfy and the location is just far enough outside the city but located close enough to the green line/subway/train line. We love Hampton Inn and would gladly stay again. Driving is; like the other reviewer said-NOT RECOMMENDED!Take the train if... more
