Just a short comment. This comfortable hotel offered a clean and quiet room with a most comfortable bed and setting, just 5-10 mins walk from MIT. Particular strengths included a next door large supermarket to buy cheap food, a coffee brewer in your room, with two complimentary high quality coffee bags per day. Also, the final price was really decent.... more

The convenience to MIT perhaps makes this hotel the best choice for travelers visiting campus despite it's drawbacks, but the decor is truly lacking in taste and the room could be a lot cleaner. We stayed two nights for our son to visit colleges having stayed at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge on prior visits. The latter seemed overpriced and... more

I have always liked the Charles, but except for location Le Meridien is far nicer. The room was lovely and spacious. Instead of two doubles, you get two queens. The service was fine and the location, by Central Square, was actually pretty good. You can walk to Harvard Square or walk to Back Bay. The room was modern, but not... more

I booked this hotel when expedia offered me a good rate and it was def worth the price! This is a nice , easy hotel when your in the Harvard /MIT area. even though Harvard is T Stop away . Central Square has a couple of average and not so average eateries and nightlife. The rooms still seem new from... more

Wonderful hotel - great value! I had a lovely stay at Le Meridien Cambridge earlier this week, punctuated by a short stay at Mass General Hospital while in Boston. See below.... We chose this hotel for a conference at Harvard Business School as the rates were preferable to other, lesser hotels in the area. After seeing where some of our... more

So, this is definitely not the fanciest place I've stayed, but for whatever reason, I found it to be very comfortable. Enough so that it got me to write my first Tripadvisor review. The rooms have been updated, and have a nice modern vibe. The beds are actually the Sealy for Sheraton beds, with feather pillows and duvets. Overall, just... more

A year or so ago I wrote a review stating that we love this hotel (the former Hotel @ MIT) but that is was getting a little worn and needed a facelift. On our last stay we found that the facelift has taken place. They've done some nice renovations of the rooms and public spaces. We only have one significant... more

Of all the hotels I've experience, this is by far in my top 3 favorite hotels. I didn't have any issues with the staff, a very easy check-in/check-out. The location was perfect with the Cambridge Side Galleria attached to the hotel along with Boston's subway Green Line just a short walk away. There was no wait for a cab. Now... more

We purchased this hotel on Priceline so we didn't know where we were booking before we paid for it. We were pleasantly surprised as this hotel was very nice and new. The beds were super-comfortable with a plush down comforter and the room was large, with a nice view of the courtyard and a large desk and tables and chairs.... more

The walls between rooms are paper thin. We could hear everything--every word, cell phone ringing, toilet flushing (and more). Considering the next door room was up all night (literally), cell phone ringing, laughing, talking, they kept us up as well. So, no sleep makes for an unhappy customer. Too bad, since the beds were comfortable and baths were spacious with... more
