We visited Cambridge for my daughter's college tour and stayed at Prospect Place five days. It is an amazing property. Rooms were comfortable. One felt safe and the proprieters made everyone present feel at home. Breakfasts were amazing, as were the details throughout the house. A certain stop our nect visit to the Boston area.

We had a great time at breakfast both mornings - was able to accommodate us a little earlier than the 8:00 set time. All good food: granola, juice, scones, french toast. The location is perfect - very close to the T. We were able to park our car and explore the city without worrying about parking. Great place to stay!

I stayed at Prospect Place for a weekend while attending events at Harvard. It’s within easy walking distance of Harvard (15-20 minutes) and near the Central T stop (one stop away from the Harvard stop). Even before I arrived the service was very good, with Eric responding promptly to my emails. I stayed in the Madeline Room. Both the room... More

This is the second time we've stayed at Prospect Place, and we were thoroughly satisfied with the accommodations there. It's only a 4-5-minute walk from the Central T stop on Massachusetts Avenue, and it's walking distance to Harvard and MIT. Eric not only puts on a great breakfast, he is ready to answer questions about the area, look up things... More

We stayed 3 nights to visit our son who is at Harvard. It is a beautiful home, very clean, warm and comfortable. Eric is a great host and makes delicious breakfasts. We slept well, the beds were very comfortable, ate well and enjoyed Eric's company and helpful tips to get around Cambridge and Boston. It is a peaceful, genteel oasis... More

Eric is the most helpful and gracious host you can possibly find. He helps with suitcases and also lays on a lovely breakfast of home-made granola, bread and cakes. He even offered to drive us to collect a hire-car in Boston. Eric, who is a trained musician, has a grand piano and gorgeous period furniture in the main living room, which... More

Thanks so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure having you with us. Our location to the T to get just about anywhere easily and quickly in Cambridge and metro-Boston is hands-down the closest of any B&B in our city. The Charles Suite, with its extra spaciousness and contemporary bathroom, is a favorite of many guests, who especially... More

All, My wife and I were in Cambridge for a program that she was attending at Harvard, and we both absolutely enjoyed our stay with Eric. The property is beautifully maintained, the breakfasts are awesome, the walk to Harvard(up Harvard St., by the way)and the fact that Whole Foods is across the street are all very positive attributes of the... I am a member of a local environmental organization that hosted an annual fundraising event at the Prospect Hill Bed & Breakfast. We shopped around for weeks pricing locations and found all the local venues out of our price range or unaccommodating to our needs. Thanks to the owners Robert and Judy (who bent over backwards to help us) we... More

We couldn't have asked for a more helpful host. Eric helped us when we were struggling to get to his place from the airport, otherwise we would still be struggling with the Boston highways. Our stay was relaxing and comfortable and the breakfasts were worth getting up for. Location was convenient and Eric's recommendations for visits in Boston were really... More

My friend and I stayed at Prospect Place B&B while in Cambridge for work. The location is very convenient in terms of public transportation, only 5 minutes walk from the subway and 15 minutes from Harvard Square. Eric was very helpful and accommodating, as was everyone. The house is absolutely beautiful! (a bit like being in a Jane Austin movie)... More
