This small hotel in Montechiari Italy is an ideal spot in a non tourist area. Located in an older estate home within the city, you will be surprised at. How much it isolates you, giving the impression that you are in the country once you pass thru the gate. It has been completely and tastefully restored in a sensitive, first... More

This is a guest accommodation in a beautiful grand town house in the residential area.of the commune di Montichiari. We were made to feel very welcome from arrival and throughout our stay. What you see from the street really does not do justice to what awaits inside. Through a couple of doors past reception and into a huge salon with... More

Stay here often for work and it's a lovely place. An old villa converted with lots of painted ceilings and the suchlike. They've furnished it beautifully and it's always clean and well presented. The breakfast is very good and the service excellent.

We found this hotel when we came out to see a rugby game in Calvisano last December and just had to come back again this year for longer. Beautiful rooms, friendly and attentive service, very close to the best trattoria in Montichiari (Barbel) and a really good base to explore Lake Garda, Verona, Mantova and Milan. All at a price... This is my 2nd stay at Palazzo Novello. First one was in summer and it felt fantastic. Nice and cozy old building with an nice little garden. Breakfast is B&B/3 star like; simple but sufficient. If you need to place in the area, this is the one. I would stay there again. On this trip however, the weather was just... More

We stayed three nights at this beautyful palazzo and enjoyed our stay very much. We needed a very simple hotel to sleep while travelling. Hospitality of the owner was at the top level, we were treated like dear guests and that makes the whole thing. We were advised on places to eat and beautyful places to visit (like ancient castle... We had a great experience at Palazzo Novello. The palazzo is absolutely beautiful. The room was very nice and very spacious even with a crib for the baby. Everything in Montichiari is within walking distance from the hotel. Great starting point for northern Italy with a taste of a small, safe town with some very friendly people. You are in... More

We had a couple of things to do in Montichiari and Brescia, so on the strength of the reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to spend a Saturday night here. We were warmly welcomed by Kenda, one of the three Novello sisters, who run the place - Kenda is a Bocconi Economics graduate turned hotelier. The palace has been beautifully restored... More

I stayed here as part of a corporate group as guests of a local forging company. The evening dinner was a buffet with so many courses that I lost count. Each course had it's own flavour and texture which made the evening more leisure time than part social and part business. There were colleagues there from 8 countries and the... More

Spent a week. The place is restaurated excellent. Felt as if we were in an aincent castle. Personal is very friendly and responsive. All the problems or nesesseties that we declared we solved at the minimum possible time. Highly recommended for everyone who plans to stay in that area and finds the budget affordable.
