Albergo della Posta was the disappointment of our trip--which is pretty good since it was a three week trip and Bracciano was our last night in Italy. Bracciano in general seemed to be a grim, grey and dirty lake town--not at all the "tourist mecca" that is described in some reviews. Rooms were dark with one lamp--forget reading in bed since the lamp is across the room. Marginally clean, bathrooms basic. We ate dinner in the restaurant (because there is nothing else within any reasonable distance) and had a good meal. Continental breakfast was good--fresh good coffee, baked goods. Parking a few blocks away--down a hill and by the run down hospital. Try to drop bags at hotel entrance first--which will be impossible unless you have at least a 2nd person to protect the car from vigilant police. Will not stay again--in fact, will not revisit Bracciano.
