This hotel is one of the dirtiest hotel that we have ever seen!! They never cleaned the floor ! Not even before our arrival!!! There was hair and dirt everywhere! The bath towels were full of spots and the bathroom was very dirty!! Even where they serve breakfast is not clean.....it' s enough to look in the angles....! The view... More

This boutique hotel is located in the old town with excellent views to the lake. The hotel is run by family members who are happy to help with any questions. There is WiFi in the hotel lobby only. No private parking is necessary to find public parking area. Reasonable breakfast. Recommended Lhsmin large room and Unusual

This hotel is infested by cockroaches, there are even more in the management team! We did not even bother to stay although we booked for 2 nights, they refused to give us a refund on our prepayment through Hotels. com

I wasn't expecting much from this hotel but it does not disappoint we just enjoyed 4 nights there our room was spotless ,a little small but that's typical of most European hotel rooms ,we sprung for a lake view room and had nice little balcony to sit out and have a glass of wine, breakfast included was plentiful, cheeses, yogurts, pastries ,juices, cereals and... Good things first: The whole staff is nice and helpful, the breakfast as good and Italian as it should be, the view stunning. But: You cannot enjoy this in an untidy room with broken furniture and torn linen. Everything is made up from the cheapest material available. The shower suspension broken, mildew in the corners, the hair dryer at the... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel, upon arrival in Italy and the night before our return to Toronto. Gianluca and Adrianno are fantastic hosts and run a very fine hotel. The breakfasts and wonderful and the rooms although small, are more than adequate. We had the best night's sleep in their hotel as the beds are so comfortable!... More

Castel Gandolfo is built on the rim of an extinct volcano, with Lake Nemi in what was the crater. Hotel Castel Gandolfo is built on the rim, and do go for the lake view rooms as the views are really lovely. The hotel is good. Rooms quite small but very acceptable and quiet. The bathrooms seem to have these plastic... More

To be close to Fiumicino airport for our return home (it's about a half hour away) we stayed at the hotel Castel Gandolfo our last night in Italy. The hotel is conveniently located close to the center and restaurants in Castel Gandolfo, but be warned that claiming this to be a 4-star is just plain ridiculous. Granted, our room had... More

Our family of 5 had a brilliant stay at Hotel Castel Gandolfo, thanks in large part to Gianluca and Adrianno. The hotel is clean, views of lake are amazing and morning breakfasts are terrific. We hope to be back there one day. Elevator is tight, so use stairs where possible.. AC was a bit loud in one room, but there... More

If you decide to have a quit & pleasant weekend or short vacation in the Castelli Romani area, you must spend at least a night in this very nice hidden hotel in the Pope's summer town. It is prefectly run by Federico, Gianluca and Tatiana, with an efficient and friendly manner; a bit hard to find nowdays. The hotel is... More
