My husband and I are renovating my mom's old home place in Ider, AL. It has no heat or running water which became really important during this hard, cold winter. If find yourself in the same dilemma, no reservation and all rooms taken, this hotel is fine for the price. The pool was closed, no ice machine, very limited breakfast. But the room was $66, the sheets were clean, plenty of towels.

We were taking our kids to camp and decided to stay here because it is a bit closer than others. Upon arrival at 3pm, rooms were not ready. There were what appeared to be homeless people hanging around. Once our room was ready an hour later, we were told only one clean towel per room. Had to wait an additional... More

We stayed a week and never got towels everyday and they never took out the trash ! Drug addicts in the parking lot ! Staff was very rude and nasty . Won't ever stay there again . Also they advertise breakfast and we ne'er seen it . Had to go get the towels everyday after working .

Nothing fancy. Clean.friendly place to hang your hat & lay your head. And a hot cup of coffee to wake you up. Have stayed here frequently. Management always accomodating. Last visit in spring. Was under new management. Still pleased with overall experience. They are pet friendly, which means alot when you want your 4-legged loved one along for the ride.... More

The hand written sign "knock on screened windows (outside) if I don't hear the bell" was the first warning sign. When we raised someone to come to the front a man answered in his pajama bottoms and robe. The employee that came to the front desk acted as if I was imposing on her. I said hello and the response...
