I stopped of at The Blue Haven last Saturday with family who are from the area. Straight away I was struck by the fantastic view. There was a Saturday steak night offer for a steak with your sides for only ten euro! Not everyone in the group got steaks but even the regular menu was extremely good value for money.... More

We had our wedding reception here on the 24/10/15. Terence and his staff were exceptional, nothing was too much for them, the reception area was beautifully turned out and our guests were raving about the food, everyone was served within seconds, the hotel is overlooking the sea and the coastal views are fabulous and really scenic. prices here cannot be... The waitors where unprofessional as they just left finished dishes on your table, did not came for the bill and just stood around chatting instead for doing their job. The food was not good at all, the side salad was the only acceptable dish. The chickenbreast took ages to come, was dry as dust and there was no sauce, it... More

We wish to thank Terence, Angela and the staff of the Blue Haven for a perfect wedding day. We had our wedding reception here on 19th of September and the guests were extremely impressed by the experience. The location and costal views, both from the hotel and driving there, the reception hall decor, the service, quality of food and seconds,... More

Don't walk, run away. We just ate here on the advice of our B&B host and Back Roads Ireland travel book. The food was expensive, over cooked and tasteless. We had the beef burger and the meat and bun were burnt. The fish pie tasted of nothing. Even though we were the only people in the restaurant, servers could not... More

amazing place to have your wedding. Terence and the staff could not do enough for us. Any thing we wanted or needed we got. Would highly rate for a wedding venue as well as a great place to eat. Food is always great.

Amazing little gem!! Loved this place, we went on a Thursday night and got steak and all the trimmings for €10 each! We loved it, very friendly staff. They seem to be doing a lot of work to this hotel so I would imagine in a few years time this place will be the ultimate venue!! Couldn't fault a thing!... More

The blue haven is a great place to visit for Sunday lunch. Friendly staff and quick and good service, if you are on your way to or from slieve league or muckross head then it is a great place to stop off, it is also very popular as a wedding destination and a great place for your big day.

I was at a wedding around St Patrick's weekend, food was excellent, service was top notch and attention to detail was 2nd to none. The function room was beautiful and well laid out. Keep up the good work

Had my wedding here in May. Nothing was too much bother for Angela and Terence. Top class in every way and very affordable compared to other venues. Took in own wine saved a fortunes. Highly recommended!
