We found Ethna's place by chance after our car broke down minutes away from her place. It was our Oasis!!! Ethna was such a gracious host. She helped us finding someone to fix the car while serving us delicious hot tea and biscuits in her great living room overlooking the ocean. We don't have enough words to describe her kindess... more

Ethna's lovely home was our third stop in 21 days of travelling the west coast of Ireland. We stayed with her for 4 nights and would have stayed longer. This was the best B&B overall of all the ones we stayed at on this trip! The rural location is ideal for touring County Donegal and enjoying the amazing scenery of... more

We stayed 2 nights at Inishduff during our tour of Ireland. Our first thought upon arriving was how beautiful the scenery was around the home. Ethna met us and showed us to the sitting room where we talked and discussed local places we could go as well as touring for the next day. She was extrememly helpful and all the... more

Ethna runs this serene ,beautifully located house with the perfect balance of hospitality & unobtrusiveness. All rooms are meticulously clean & comfortable, with glorious seaviews from the front of house bedrooms, the guests' lounge, & dining -room...& even mentioning the dining-room makes me wish I could go back tomorrow for one of Ethna's delicious breakfasts! Her food is absolutely wonderful: the... more

Back in Donegal for a second year. Since my last visit I have had holidays in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Spain, US, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia and Estonia and Inishduff House is 'simply the best'. Excellent accommodation, fantastic breakfast, free internet and outstanding host. Nothing is too much trouble for Ethna and a scan of the other reviews aptly describe... more

Spent two nights at Inishduff in May, and it was really nice. Ethna is a great hostess and an excellent cook. She very thoughtfully got gluten-free bread for my mom, who has celiac disease, and prepared a nice tea tray each day for us in our room. Very tasty breakfasts. The house has great views and is a good base... more

We recently spent a night at Inishduffhouse as we toured Ireland. It was by far, the best place we stayed. Ethna welcomed us into her home with an afternoon tea and snack and made us feel at home. Her tips on where to eat and how to get to Slieve League were perfect. The breakfast was outstanding. We've stayed at... more

We were welcomed by Proprietor Ethna Diver, ready with homemade scones and tea after we settled into our tastefully appointed quarters with a breathtaking window view of the harbor. The entire area was strikingly beautiful, and lifetime resident Ethna never failed us with recommendations for hikes, restaurants, boat rides, beaches and scenic drives, all arranged following a scrumptious breakfast. She... more

This B&B was one of our favorite places to stay on our 2 week trip to Ireland. From the time we arrived Ethna made us fell welcome. Ethna was very hospitable. Very nice home. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The area around Inishduff House is beautiful. Cliffs along the coast with spectacular views. We chose this... more

During a golf tour of the north and west of Ireland we stayed at a number of B&Bs and small hotels. While I would recommend every one, Inishduff House would be near the top of the list. The house is new and clean. Our room at the front was large, with a spectacular view of Donegal Bay. The bathroom was... more
