Upon arrival in the hotel, we had a problem related to the quality of the room. The young lady from the reception, Miss. Roxana, solved the problem with great courtesy, understanding and professionalism. She and the whole team have done everything to make us feel comfortable. Before the departure, she gave us useful advices in connection with places to visit.... More

The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable, nice bathrooms, good space. Dinner was very tasty and excellent breakfast. Most of the workers came from Poland, they were helpful and they did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Unless the manager in the lobby, he seemed frustrated and not enjoying being there. Recommended.

Stayed for 2 nights and it was very nice and the rooms were huge! Good breakfast selection and buffet was great! The hotel also has two hot tubs wich were also very nice. I think this is one of the better hotels I have stayed on in Iceland.

We were on a Southern tour of Iceland so we only stayed here for the one night, however, enjoyed it very much. The rooms were big and spacious and the meals were absolutely delicious. The service was first rate and my only niggle was that even though the Wi-Fi was free, half of our group couldn't connect to it. There... More

Stayed here for 6 nights as part of a tour group. Our room was spacious and recently renovated, but apparently other rooms are smaller. Very quiet despite the high volume of tourists, some large groups arrived in the evening and left early the next morning, so meals were buffet style. If you'd like to sample smoked puffin or salmon, it's... More

We were on a tour (15 people) and there were buses pulling up. Nice room clean, close to the local pool we took advantage of an a local craft market (sweaters). Food/buffet was good nothing to write home about. No hairdryers. Thats all we had time for. Oh..curtains were great at keeping out the light.

Good sized accommodation with everything you'd need for a couple of days stay. Interesting small community with the Njall Saga museum just across the road and very well worth a visit... allow c.2 hours to do it justice. Also in the same building a team of tapestry makers busy working on the huge Saga Tapestry..... for a donation you can... More

This is a small hotel that has obviously received some recent renovations. That being said, some of the rooms are spacious, have updated bathrooms fitted with a tub/shower, toilet and sink, double or triple room, chairs, wardrobe and nightstands. At the same time, other rooms have yet to be updated, with older looking linens, and some dated bathroooms (our shower... More

We stayed 1 night on our tour of Iceland. They have free parking and free wifi in the room. The room was huge, the staff super friendly and the breakfast buffet was O.K. As there were several groups staying at the hotel, we avoided the dinner buffet and went to a near by restaurant.

Huge rooms. No really huge. So much room both suitcases could be opened simultaneously. Beautiful bathroom. Hip bath / shower combo. So spacious and clean. Loved it. Did not eat there in evening as many large groups staying and we are no fans of the buffet! Breakfast more than adequate. Reception staff very helpful Highly recommend this place.
