if you would like to visit the blue lagoon for a day staying at the clinic is a must. For two adults entrance into the pools is complementary, I was given passes for two on both my day of arrival and departure which saves a lot of money at the actual blue lagoon. They have private pools open for the... More

Would not recommend this "hotel". The staff were very rude and unhelpful. If we needed something basic like information about lagoon or even directions to our room when we checked in, it felt like we were intruding on the ongoinh conversations between the staff members. Given room card and not shown to room. No info on opening times of private... More

Very nicer facility not far from the capital city. It's signed from the main roads if you're good at working puzzles. Best to make arrangements early and have your admission ready. Opt for something above base level for a treat, or go bare-bones and bring your own towel. The waters are steamy hot and amazing - as I wrote this... More

Nice afternoon at the blue lagoon. The lagoon was very nice and had a bar so you don't need to leave to get a new drink! Restaurant was lovely with views looking over the lagoon. Food was nice and had a good selection of wines.

We recently stayed here on our final night of a four day tour of Iceland. A number of people had suggested we give the Blue Lagoon a try so for ease we thought we'd have a meal in the Lava restaurant and then stay over. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the hotel. The room was beyond basic; there were... More

We arrived on Thursday morning (for Family long weekend) and went to Blue Lagoon. The changing rooms were nice and clean. We loved the idea that we could order some drinks while staying in the water. In water massage was amazing experience. Definitely will go back.

Simply go there, Great place to relax for a few hours! There a number of things that can be done while there but think the lagoon its self is amazing nice warm waters while in the middle of icelandic larva fields.

This place may be very basic, the rooms are very minimal but the private lagoon makes up for that in so many ways. It is a lovely relaxing experience on a smaller scale than the Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is a short walk away from the clinic but be very careful as getting there in the snow and rain... More
