I stayed at the Blue Lagoon Clinic in July 2013 while doing a layover with Iceland Air. I stayed for the hotel service, not the clinic's services. From making the reservation, to the stay at the clinic, to departure, all was perfect. I found it to be pricey, but such is the case for accommodations and food in general in... More

Spacious room with view of lava fields and larger Lagoon off in the distance. This was our first hotel after a night flight & staying awake all day. Enjoyed the private lagoon from 4-5 pm, only 4 in the waters, heavenly!!! Breakfast ,coffee delish & abundant. Staff friendly.

Blue Lagoon was our last stop on a 10 day trip and we felt like it was one of the few hotels in Iceland that was completely worth the price. Gorgeous Scandinavian design and well appointed rooms. The Clinic has only 15 rooms (all with private porch overlooking the lava fields) and feels really intimate. They offer all the amenities... More

We had a very short stay in Iceland, and our stay at this hotel was less than 12 hours. We got in after midnight and checked out by noon. The price for such a short stay would likely be considered a poor value for most people, but I felt it was worth it. We understood the restricted hours in the... More

Modest and small (1 floor) hotel with relatively steep price. Pretty lonely and away from any settlement (which may mean you need a car). But there are some good "selling points" which justify the price- each room has terrace with view and "way" to moss covered lava field (actually it is not allowed to step on that) and it is... More

We had a connecting flight that arrived at 2 am and our next flight was at 5 pm We indulged ourselves by staying at the clinic hotel. Great room, nice to have your own blue lagoon and access to the main blue lagoon included in the price of the room, the staff are very friendly, Will come back again

My family and I planned and had been looking forward to our trip to Europe and Iceland for over a year. We decided to splurge and spend our last night of our trip at the Blue Lagoon Clinic. It was one of the things I was looking forward to the most. We reconfirmed our arrival twice before leaving on our... More

We had a lovely break July 2014. We went to experience the midnight sun and the Blue Lagoon. Both were as we had hoped. The weather was not great with heavy rain in the morning, so rather than midnight sun we had midnight cloud but yes it was still light after midnight. The Blue Lagoon itself was not too busy... More

After reading some of the comments on Trip Advisor concerning the blue lagoon clinic hotel, i was rather surprised to say the least... Before booking a room there i checked the entrance fee to the Blue lagoon for 2 persons ( my husband and I) including bathrobes and towels. This worked out at 65 euros per person . or 130 for... More

we went in June, peak season in iceland. the surrounding landscape is amazing, almost like mars on earth! Private lagoon is open for hotel guests from 9am to 2pm and 8-10pm, it's smaller in scale but much quieter and you also get to use the famous lagoon moisturizer provided in the changing room. the big lagoon, has more facilities, steam...
