Flew out of Heathrow on a cold a bleak Monday morning in early February - Thats just how many Mondays are. Hired a car from the airport and made our way to the Blue Lagoon Clinic for the first night of our 6 day vacation. The clinic was easy to find and set in its own amazing landscape with views... More

The hotel is very clean and the staff is super friendly...especially Barbara at the front desk. I left my very expensive camera in the taxii that dropped me off and and she helped me track him down. She told me to go enjoy the water and that she would take care of it. When I got back to my room... More

We booked our first night in Iceland here, to recover from the overnight flight, and to see the Blue Lagoon. It's a rather odd sort of place, both a hotel and a clinic for those seeking skin therapy in the sulfur-rich thermal pools. And as a clinic, there's a sterility to the rooms, to the public areas, and to the... More

Only stayed one night here but the rooms were very spacious and warm and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is not cheap but the rate includes entry to the Blue Lagoon so that makes it quite good value for money (providing you make use of the free entry); plus they have their own private pool if the main... Facility is modern danish, beautiful, comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean. Beautiful icelandic blown wool blankets on the beds and all rooms have a private deck overlooking peaceful lava fields. Staff is reserved, helpful and accommodating. They can store your luggage till the room is ready. No problem with language, everyone speaks English. Ask for dinner to be brought in for... More

Our first stop in Iceland straight from the airport. A landscape like nothing we had ever seen before. Our room was very comfortable and looked out over the old lava field. Service and breakfast excellent. A short walk to the main lagoon complex(entry complimentary if you are a guest at the hotel) where we enjoyed a relaxing dip and later a... More

We stayed at the clinic the first night of our visit to Iceland in November. The clinic accommodates both longer staying spa treatment guests, and shorter term non spa guests. There are a limited number of rooms so we were fortunate to find availability when we booked online in advance. Our plane arrived from Seattle around 6:45 a.m. The first... More
