Right down the street from The Blue Lagoon. Very clean and acceptable rooms and excellent food. Our room overlooked the lava fields - that was fun. Typical of the many very acceptable hotels in Iceland.

We couldn't believe the level of service for just one night's stay.We arrived early ( mid-morning) and were allowed into our room straightaway. My husband was collected from the airport after delivering the car, towels were provided for our trip to The Blue Lagoon , breakfast was served for us at 5am before we were driven to the airport at... We went there the day before our flight out of the country and spent the evening at the Blue Lagoon which was just down the road. It is smack in the middle of a lava field and much closer to the geothermal plant which I didn't expect, but wasn't a problem. The breakfast was fine and the best part was... More

My boyfriend and I travelled to Iceland in February 2014 and spent our three nights there in the Northern Light Inn. This is a relatively small hotel, very conveniently located to the airport. On arrival, we exited the airport to be met by a hotel employee holding up a name card for us. The hotel was about a 20min drive... More

5 mins from Blue Lagoon with a free shuttle bus. 15 mins from Keflavik airport. Perfect location backed up by really excellent friendly staff, spacious clean rooms, excellent lounge facilities and a very good restaurant. Good value for money. A lovely find.

Fourth time we have been here, consistently good, large well appointed rooms in a great location close by the Blue Lagoon and other sight seeing opportunities. Also very handy for the airport with an early morning transfer and breakfast. The restaurant has a simple menu with well cooked dishes, try the langoustine, fairly priced and delicious. The wine list is... More

Certainly among the most unusual locations for a small luxury hotel with views of the geothermal plant and lots of rocks! What an oasis though. We were a family of four and the family room was spacious and comfortable with a nice sized bathroom. While the key attraction was the Blue Lagoon which was a few minutes away by car... More

We stayed for 3 nights in February and The NLI was a charming alternative to central Reykjavik Hotels. Situated just five minutes from the Blue Lagoon, with arranged tours, this is an excellent hotel for an authentic Icelandic Experience. Arranged with Discover The World, we had a Quad Biking Excursion, a Golden Triangle Tour and a Blue Lagoon visit planned... More

Great location, close to International Airport and Blue Pools. We only stayed one night on our arrival. Staff friendly and welcoming. Buffett breakfast was good. Good room for family of 4 and good start for Iceland adventure.

I've stayed here before and liked the hotel very much. It is modern, clean, adjacent to the Blue Lagoon - should you want to brave the crowds and queues - has very friendly and helpful staff and the restaurant is excellent, too. It is also only 15-20 minutes from the airport, which at 5am makes a big difference! Our room... More
