My husband and I were traveling home from Branson and decided to stop in Springfield, Illinois. We picked up one of those travel brochures at a rest stop and found the Pear Tree Inn coupon for $44.50 per night. I am always hesitant about those coupon things but after we stopped at the Drury Inn right next door and they... more

Great little hotel with the lowest rates in Springfield. Very clean rooms with a friendly staff who even make a courtesy call to each room to make sure your happy with it and check to see if you need anything. We paid $62.00 for our room while all the other hotels close by were asking $84.00 & up for theirs.... more

We came over to Springfield to be with friends for Easter and booked a long weekend at the Pear Tree Inn. Our king room was nice and clean. The only thing I could find fault in and was not the hotels fault that the power company was doing testing and was loud. The popcorn was fresh and hot and the aroma... more

Very nice and friendly place to stay. Everyone was polite and willing to help us find our way around the city. It was clean and very comfortable and quiet. Will stay there again whenever we are in town. more

Stayed only one night, but was really worth it for the money. Nice clean room. Very comfortable bed. Modern and clean bathroom. This is an economy hotel and is very basic in style. No pool. Continental breakfast was just fine. Cereal, sweet rolls, juice, milk, coffee. If you want a pool and hot breakfast, next door is the sister hotel... more

I think this hotel was great for the money. We stay in a lot of $50 a night places and this was one of the best. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and there was no bad smell to the room. Breakfast was above average for this type of hotel. Don't miss the new Lincoln museum and... more

It was cheap!! $57.99 for our room and we got a free continental breakfast. The staff was really nice and we even had free wi-fi internet. The building looks old on the outside, but inside looks nice, clean, and much newer! I will look for Pear Trees whenever I travel. more

I have stayed here numerous times at 42.95 and well worth the price. I almost always stay at 4 star resort types, but the price here is too good. Meth lab boy was probably unique experience. I have been here over 10 times with no problems. Rooms was dark, good to sleep in. Staff etc. is normal fare type, but... more

I travel through Springfield often and have always wondered what the catch was when they lit their $39.95 sign. After staying 1 night, I found out. Though the room was spacious it had dark wallcovers which really gave the room a dull look. It wasn't clean and highway noise was excessive during the night. The party next door to me... more
