The location was perfect for our two main objectives: visits to the Lincoln home and museum and to the Dana-Thomas House. This Inn was extremely pleasant and elegant. It is well located near downtown Springfield where there are some great restaurants nearby. The building is large and very solid. We chose a small room (The Iris) and it was awesome. Hot breakfasts were second to none. The staff was courteous and helpful. We will be back.

Inn at 835 is a lovely restored historic building. The wine and cheese are plentiful and the parlor conversions, intersting. We booked the Rose Suite room, which is the most requested room, for good reason.
