I have stayed at the Hampton Inn Southwest a hand full of times for work now and have always had a pleasant experience. I stayed at another hotel one time while in town for work and woke up with a bad headache from the pillows and an uncomfortable bed. It was probably my fault from the way I slept, but... more

Hotel was very nice and clean. Six of us stayed in a large room with 2 queens and a sofa bed and we had plenty of room. The price for such a room was good also. The equipment in the exercise room was very nice, though the room itself is fairly small. The breakfast was very good, very nice for... more

This was a fairly nice motel. We stayed Memorial Day weekend to see the Lincoln sites. It cost $109.00 total for one night. The room had two queen beds. Though the rooms were a little small for the price. Staff was courteous. Breakfast was marginal and seating was limited with the number of guests staying. Free computer with internet access... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night with some friends during a weekend get-away. We were very pleased with our stay. We booked a double-queen suite and our room was very nice. It was a clean hotel and all of the staff was very helpful and friendly. They offer a free hot breakfast with lots of items to choose... more

We reserved two double rooms for two nights Monday and Tuesday in early June in order to treat our granddaughters to the Lincoln museum and New Salem. We left early Monday morning for a seven hour drive and arrived on time. We were by the receptionists at the desk that our rooms were unavailable, even though they had our reservation... more

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, fairly friendly staff, great breakfast, new exercise equipment. Breakfast was huge--cereal, sausage, french toast, cinnamon raisin biscuits, bagels, toast, donuts, fruit, juices and coffee. The exercise equipment was fairly new and actually functional! There were 2 treadmills, 1 eliptical and 1 bike. The room is right next to the meeting rooms so if you work... more

My family and I stayed here near the end of a two week driving trip in August. We had stayed at several Holiday Inn Express hotels and Hampton Inns. This was far better than any of these other hotels. It is new and perfectly clean. We had a huge room with dark wood furniture, a bar area, refrigerator and microwave,... more

We stayed at this Hampton Inn while visiting the State Fair. We booked a king studio non-smoking suite which was located on the first floor. Our room was very spacious and very clean. It was obvious they had cleaned the carpets right before we checked in. everything was in working order. The beds were fairly comfortable, but I liked the... more

My family and I often stay at Hampton Inns because of their normally universal quality. Sadly, this Hampton did not measure up. Our rate was $109.99, which seemed high for Springfield, but we assumed it would be worth it for a new hotel. Unfortunately, not much of this property compared to other Hamptons. The beds, now promoted on hamptoninn.com were... more

Just returned from a stay at the Springfield, Hampton Inn. Very nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. I'm an insurance adjuster and was assigned to work in Springfield, IL after the tornadoes of March 12, 2006. We stayed 7 nights at the Hampton in Litchfield. Very comfortable bed and nice accomodations. Morning breakfast was nice and offered a great... more
