Roger and Dave were wonderful friendly guys and the home was charming. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. However in all honesty I must say that the inn is a bit on the shabby side and would not be the place for anyone who is very fussy or particular.

I wouldn't recommend it. I put leftovers in the kitchen refrigerator it was dirty needless to say we didn't eat there and did not take our leftovers home.no water pressure in the shower, or hot water it was barely lukewarm even after letting it run.

Wow. I'm sorry this guest had a bad experience. We try very hard to accommodate our guests. No one had previously complained about the shower having no pressure or being lukewarm. We have since replaced the thermostat on the water heater. The pressure seems adequate....perhaps some advancing arteriosclerosis in the galvanized plumbing in the 1871 house? (we will be replacing... More

The hosts were friendly, but we clearly do not share my political beliefs, lol, which was clear from our morning conversations over breakfast. The downstairs was very nice, as was our room. My two criticisms were that the bed creaked pretty loudly whenever we moved on it, and breakfast was kind of luke warm our second morning, but I enjoyed... More

This is the fourth B&B I have stayed at. What a beautiful home with lots of character. When you walk in the doors you can't help but wonder who has stayed there before and the history of the home. It is nicely decorated and the dinning room is beautiful from the lead glass windows to the builtin cupboards. The inn... More

Roger and Dave were so nice and helpful in picking us up at Amtrak and then also taking us to Hertz to pick up a rental car. The breakfasts we were served were delicious and the accommodations were good. Thanks Roger and Dave!

Me and my partner stayed a few weekends ago, it was our first time at a bed and breakfast. The owners are a wonderful and very personable couple. . Breakfast was good, house is very cool and unique. Only bad thing i have to say is the bed, it was extremely uncomfortable i ended up sleeping on the couch both... More

First, Roger and Dave are very welcoming hosts and the historic house is a gorgeous structure with a beautiful front porch. They are eager to share their stories and opinions, which made for some very lively moments of conversation. The house is filled with curiosities and artifacts (I couldn't imagine trying to keep it dusted! What a job!) You can... More

All items leading up to this stay made me very un-easy. There was no official reservation confirmation. Just a one sentence e-mail response, to my e-mail requesting some reservation confirmation. Phone conversations were brief and hurried. With that said, once we arrived the owner was very accommodating and cordial. The room was nice and the breakfast good, with an excellent... More

My 2 daughters and I plus my 9 mo. old granddaughter stayed here and had a wonderful time. Roger was very congenial and funny. We all enjoyed talking with him as well as the other guests. We booked the connecting rooms and were pleased with them. The house is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The garden is a work in progress... More

Had a great visit to the B&B. 1871 with wonderful decor and period design. Each bedroom can house two people. Innkeeper Roger is very hospitable and makes a great breakfast. Sat on the veranda and enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Say yes to staying here. I will be back.
