Sited just on the edge of the village it's a good looking hotel built down a steep slope to the sea. Opposite the main buildings is the very new additional accommodation. It has 2 good pools one of which includes a paddling area for kids; Tv room and internet; a pool side taverna with tasty light meals and 2 pool... more

We staid in the Castello Village last week and I have to say that the location is wonderful, best location in Sisi with a great sea view. At the beggining, we received a room in the new building but we requested to be moved to the old building since it is more cozy and Cretan (the new biulding looks like... more

The location is indeed beautifull, a small village, so quiet and cute. The staff was excellent, the entertainment team was very good, the assistant manager was very nice, we praised him much. But! The rooms did not deserve the stars! They were rather mean, smell unpleasantly, and, what was more, they have bugs, big brown cockroaces, coming out of the... more

We were shown the worst room in the Hotel and then given the hard sell. You see they have built a new Castello Village Hotel across the road but it is not finished yet. For another 210 euro we could stay in the new accomodation but had to sign a disclaimer, (because there are still bare wires hanging down) We... more

All the staff are very friendly and helpful at all times . They like to have a laugh too. Plenty to do, if you want to avoid the entertainment then there are other bars/ areas to sit. Our room was always clean and was at a good standard. By day the sport activities were good with two good size swimming... more

Don’t go in October as the weather was cold, grey and windy. Pleasant when we did get a very occasional glimpse of the sun however. Many of the shops, tavernas and other hotels were also now closed or in the process of closing. We were aware of how noisy it would be in this hotel in the summer however, as... more

Hotel cost about £170 for two people for half board in late October. This was excellent value for money. Did the hotel match up to its 4 star rating? No, definitely not, compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Hotel site was compact, there was no car park. Advertised as bungalow style was misleading, expected more spacious grounds -... more

Having read the reviews of the apartments on tripadvisor we weren't expecting a lot from the Castello and in fact were a bit worried when we arrived only to be told they didn't have 2 rooms next to each other for our party of 4 but had instead put us in a suite. Our suite had twice the amount of... more

Where to begin..... On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by the assistant manager who told us our room was ready but as we had asked for a sea view room we had to pay an extra 140 Euros or stay in what was best described as a pit. Of course it was very well worded and we were... more
