We have just come back from our second stay at the Kalimera Kriti. The staff were welcoming, accomodation clean. We really enjoyed are return vist and look forward to going back again. We booked a Family suite, the only downside was it only had 1 bathroom, next time we will go back to having 2 connecting rooms. more

Special holiday for birthday and anniversary. Mid April and weather superb locals said it was excepionally hot for the time of year. Hotel very quiet which suited us perfectly.Food generally excellent and lunch at the taverna was a real treat although generally price of wines was expensive (but did not stop us drinking it). Room had superb view over private... more

We've spent 1 week in this wonderful hotel which looks more like a club. There are many bars and restaurants all around. The rooms are nice but not enough furnished for a family. The best part of our holiday was the beach area which is really splendid, clean. Water isn't too deep so you can really enjoy swimming with your... more

excellent hotel, location and service especially for families, huge rooms ( our room was a small 2-bed flat). highly recommended. Although we are proud of our cuisine (TURKISH) , hotel's chefs impressed us. more

Honestly - if you have been working like mad, feeling horribly guilty about uttering words like "quality time", stealing (further) sleep to keep a good home, happy kids - skip this place altogether. Skip the "better off" sister hotel, too (Elounda Bay). Skip the island. Really - and i am so sorry for the really nice locals inland - but... more

This was the fourth trip to Crete by the Petch family (2 children, 5 and 9) and we found this compex to be the best yet. Some of the complex along this strip have come to be almost totally dominated by Russian clientele - adding an unusal flavour to the experience... fur coat sales! But the Kalimera Kriti seems to... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Kalimera Kriti in June 06 and it is the only place we've been to that we were actually sad to leave and will definitely go back to. As other reviews point out, English are in the minority with most guests being German. This made for a good atmosphere as the World cup was... more

We had an excellent week, the weather was gorgeous if a little hot as we caught the end of the heatwave, then in came the wind and whipped up the ocean, but overall a great experience. There was a variety of nationalities staying on the complex with the British being in the minority. We were very surprised to encounter the... more

We spent one week at the Kalimera Kriti and experienced outstanding service and received good value for money. The room was big (we had room A138, a waterfront bungalow) that was about 300 steps away from the main building (yes, I really counted the steps...). The good things: Breakfast and dinner buffet were very, very good. A good choice of... more
