Spent a perfect week in this charming location. The apartment we stayed in was very clean, elegant and comfortable. The pool was fresh and enticing, the apartment block itself was very clean and has a strangely ancient feel to it. Every night you fall asleep listening to the hypnotic sound of the sea. Arise early - throw open the balcony... More

We recently spent 4 nights at Porto Sisi apartments, as a family of 4 (2 adults, and 2 teenagers) it was extremely comfortable. We had the room downstairs in front of the pool, we had our own bedroom and the kids had their own beds in the main room, it also had a kitchenette. The room opens up to a... More

very nice and quiet place for your holidays! Sisi is an old fishing village with a small port. Quiet, nice. We stay there in June, just before the high season. The rooms are very clean and in Creek/Crete style. Many options on Crete available, but this location is fantastic; the sunset, which we had all days!. Enjoy it from your... More

Comfortable, spotless, high quality design and layout allowed five adults sharing two apartments overlooking pool and sea after Easter to soak up peace and sunshine. It was a good base to explore coast and mountains, antiquities and generous local restaurants. Sissi is a little oasis in the overdeveloped tourist strip to the west, but the new national road gives good access... More

Before this vacation I checked many options in Crete. We selected Porto Sisi because in the last few years the place didn't got bad reviews. It was a really good choice and aspecially with a front room with a balcony. The apartment has 3 part: bed room, small but very useful and clean like new kitchen, living room with a... More

This is our second visit, one year apart and this is still the place to stay when in Sissi from comparing with people we spoke to during our visit. Wi/Fi is a bit better since last year but Wi/Fi is still not a workable option if you have serious work to do, which you probably don't when you're on holidays... More

We booked a weeks holiday to Crete at the end of September. Our flight arrived late, and with the transfer from the airport going all over the place, we didn't arrive til approx 1.30 am. Upon arrival we found a note at reception advising us to go to a particular room nearby, where we found a key in the door.... More

The little village of Sissi is very picturesque, with many traditional tavernas that serve scrumptious Greek food with huge welcoming smiles everywhere. The place is totally unspoilt, there are a few touristy shops, and a couple of well stocked little supermarkets, and bakery if self catering, as we were. There is an English pub,The Jolly Roger, right on the rocky sea... More

...and look out every morning at that beautiful blue sky and sea, or wake up in the night thinking the washing machine's on, only to realise that it's actually the waves breaking on the rocks. What a fantastic fortnight! We booked late, feeling in need of rest and relaxation, and hadn't actually heard of Sissi, but after reading TA reports,... More
