We stayed 17October till 28th October in Room 413 and had a wonderful relaxing holiday even though the weather pretty cloudy with a couple of storms.Few hours of sun every day though but it is end of season. The hotel is very modern with a very high level of design throughout and from the moment we arrived we were treated... More

Just come back from our second stay at this great hotel.. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Food is good - plenty of choice even bacon and eggs fried to order for breakfast! Bar staff excellent - Angelo's cocktails to die for, or from if you are not careful especially the mojito. Rooms are comfortable and maid service is very... More

We stayed here at the start of October ( 03/10 until 10/10 ) We booked a room with a private pool that faced the church, room 305 was unfortunately overlooked by another building which meant the pool never got heated by the sun... although I'm sure this wouldn't matter in the hotter months! Yes the church bells are loud but... More

We arrived late night & was upgraded for our first night to a suite with a pool, lovely suite, champagne & light meal waiting too as we had missed dinner, nice gesture to be upgraded too, however as it was late at night not really able to use the pool, and we didn't feel we could relax to unpack. The... More

Thing is, when you claim something that you are not, you will get disappointed guests. This is a decent hotel, but there are to many things just not of 5 star standard: -Bedlinnen reminded me of what is used in an NHS hospital. Could we have duvets please? -Breakfast just about ok. Why not freshly made pancakes and waffles? Pancakes... More

If you are looking for a luxury stay in a quiet location this is the hotel for you. The rooms, food and friendly attentive staff are excellent. Situated in Sissi near the village within a short walk from the hotel is a pretty harbour with many bars and restaurants. Also there are two small beach areas within walking distance. Everyone... We were late as EasyJet could not take off due to the weather, they kept us strapped in for 2 hrs on the GATWICK runway, that is another story. We arrived at the hotel at 2am to be welcomed by Rania, a cold meal had been left in our room. That set the tone for the rest of the week. All... More

Very much enjoyed our stay here, a perfect hotel for a quiet relaxing week in a pretty, sleepy harbour town. There are plenty of sun lounger so no towels at dawn issues. The mezzanine bedroom nice but could benefit from having a loo upstairs. The beds were very comfy and the room nice and dark - slept like babies. The... More

Have just returned from a week at the Costello and as others have mentioned this hotel does not really rate 5*s, though I wouldn't be so up myself to state that the majority of reviewers have never stayed in a 'proper' 5* hotel and it was easy to spot those who have, as one reviewer has posted. Some people do... More
