We've stayed at the Magnolia Omaha for the first weekend in May for the last 3 years now and we continue to be very pleased and happy with our stay there. The staff, while seemingly young, is always attentive and professional. Every year, we find our room clean, well appointed, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The complimentary shuttle service is... More

I love historic properties so the Magnolia Hotel fit the bill. The outside of the property is the original and the inside is like stepping into a brand new hotel. From what we learned, this hotel has been through a lot over the years and many thought that it would end up being torn down. That would have been a... More

The Magnolia is definitely aspiring to be a lower-cost W. Their lobby has an "urban hip" feel to it, and you can't miss the blue lights in the elevator. What they got right: Free shuttle from the hotel was fast and efficient (just call them when you land in the airport). Plus, the shuttle vehicle was top notch. Room service... More

I loved the hotel. The staff was great and very accomodating. The hotel goes out of the way to create a special place. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel has a great vibe and I will return when staying in Omaha. Check it out and I am sure that you will agree.

Magnolia is located approx 4 blocks from the old part of downtown Omaha with great restaurants and nightlife -- the Hilton and Embassy Suites are the only ones a little closer to downtown and the Quest center. However, the hospitality of the staff is outstaning and they go out of their way to take care of you -- they have... More

We attended a New Years Eve party at Magnolia. I had never been there before so I didn't know what to expect. Not only is the hotel BEAUTIFUL, but everything was impeccably designed and decorated! All the way down to the fireplace in the lounge area to the elevators it is first class! Our room was spacious and had a... More

Stayed here for purposes of a college visit with my daughter. Checked out trip Advisor and decided on the Magnolia. Great choice. Small boutique style hotel with excellent rooms and service. Great breakfast which includes all you would want/need. I would highly rec if you need a hotel downtown

I just stayed here last Thursday (11/20) with a group of about 30 and we had a wonderful experience. From start to finish we all thought Magnolia offered a real value for the experience. All the front desk and valet people that I dealt with were extremely friendly and professional. The shuttle service is great since I didn't have a... More

The architecture and decor of the hotel were beautiful. My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the jacuzzi suites. The layout of the room was weird, and the matress was hard. We used a gift certificate which included champagne and strawberries brought to the room, and dinner for 2 at the hotel. I wouldn't recommend eating at the hotel.... More

A long-time resident of Omaha, I was recently surprised by my significant other with a one-night "get away" at the Magnolia Hotel, located in downtown Omaha. This property has been through several chain ownerships, but Magnolia has transformed the once drab facility into a nicely renovated retro-modern (read: hip) place that, if some modest improvements in soft goods and perhaps...
