We got our room for $50 + tax through priceline. For the price we paid, we were happy. If I'd paid full price, we would have been very disappointed. The area is safe, the room was quiet, and the soaps and shampoos were a nice touch. The beds are on par with a Super 8. Unlike many Hamptons, there is... more

I got this hotel when I booked on Priceline. Called to add my HHoners Silver VIP number for incidentals and was very rudely told that I would not receive any points for incidentals since I booked on Priceline. Arrived via Amtrak with my 5 and 6 year old sons. Arrived at 1130pm as the train was late. Called the hotel... more

This Doubletree left a lot to be desired. Location is okay, walking distance to Old Market, but the place looks straight out of the 1970s or early 80s at best. Dated decor in the rooms. Rooms are dark. Air Conditioning in June barely kept the room at 74 degrees. Carpet was musty and damp. Shower curtain was a bedsheet and... more

Where does one start in describing a hotel at which the high point of one’s stay is the double-bone pork chop? I am a full-time business traveler, and I have been staying four nights a week at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel Omaha-Downtown for 12 weeks. Although there are some aspects of this hotel that are above average, said double-bone pork... more

For the price, we expected a luxury room. The room size was nice and we thought it looked good when we got there. At $134 plus $7 more to park, I did expect a hot shower and comfortable bed. The water temp took about 5 minutes to get warm -- ok I could deal with that. We stayed at this... more

I recently stayed at the downtown Omaha Doubletree Hotel, and unlike the other reviews here, I liked it alot. First, the location. It is located in the heart of downtown Omaha, and within a few blocks is the "Old Village" area, blocks of refurbished brick buildings housing bars and restaurants galore. Great food, or sit on a sidewalk patio area... more

I know - the title and my ratings seem contradictory. Let me explain. Once upon a time I am sure this Doubletree was a beautiful hotel to stay at. The main issue is that was many many years ago. What makes this hotel is the people - Omaha has friendly midwest people and the hotel is clean. I can always... more

Title explains it. The place is old. It's generally clean, but the guest rooms could probably use a lot of housekeeping elbow grease to get it up to par. I'm not saying it was filthy, but I'm not saying it was clean as it should have been. The staff was generally pleasant. The parking garage can be a slight hassle... more

It's not a big deal, but first thing you need to know is that there's a good chance your Hotwire-purchased room is going to be on the swimming pool-side of the fourth floor. But that will be the least of your worries at Omaha's Downtown Doubletree. I arrived late (after midnight) and slept in, giving myself limited time to make... more

My TV did not work, bed was not comfortable, the shower was horrible and the worst was the hair in the tub... or maybe the trash can in the bathroom that had not been cleaned out. It was only one night and I did NOT get in the shower - had to wait until I got to Chicago, I was... more
