My wife and I shared our 14th anniversary at the ONLY BNB in Omaha - The Cornerstone Mansion. We stayed in the Porch Suite. For anyone looking for a romantic weekend getaway locally, or who wants charm while on travel - STAY AT THIS BNB!!! We have been to dozens across the entire country, some better than others, but we... More

I booked the room in advance for my husbands and my 29th anniversary. Our room was the Fireside, when we arrived it was so hot I inquired with the owner who said this room is the warmest and the heating was central but she would turn it down as the other guest rooms had portable heaters and she also told... In a 120-year-old house during a very cold winter, we keep our thermostat at a temperature that seems to suit the majority of our guests, and we offer fans or portable heaters to those who are not comfortable. None of our windows are nailed or painted shut. Our bigger concern with this review is that the guest says she could... More

We enjoyed one night here in our travels. Our hostess was very gracious and welcoming as were the two dogs (who were allowed no further than the kitchen). We appreciated the suggestion of finding supper in the Old Market area (as well as the good directions to get there!). The wind was terrible the night we stayed, yet we were... More

My jaw dropped when I got out of the car - what a beautiful, stately home - and I have plans to stay every time I'm in Omaha on business. Julie my host obviously loves this place, and it shows. The surroundings are outstanding: my bedroom window looked out onto Jocelyn Castle, and the brick-paved streets around lent an air... More

We stayed on our way out West as part of a longer trip. We enjoyed our visit and the beautiful old home. The decor was definitely romantic especially in the bedroom. We had a large bedroom with canopy and a smaller pass through room with small bed to the claw foot bathroom. There was a small refrigerator in the hall... More

My wife and I recently stayed 2 nights at the Cornerstone. Every aspect of our stay was wonderful. Our room was like staying in a relatives home. Julie was like family and gave us many tips for things to do and restaurants, all were right on! Hope we have the opportunity to return.

We spent two nights there recently. The house is gorgeous and in fantastic shape for being 150 years old. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. So much more homie than staying in a more expensive hotel room. Within about 2 miles of Old Market area and a short distance off Dodge so easy to get anywhere from... More

I had my daughter's 13th birthday sleep over at the Cornerstone & the girls had a great time. The building & interior are exquisite. Breakfast was excellent & gracious in the lovely dining room. The garden is so sweet. We enjoyed it totally.

I travel a lot and stay in resorts, hotels with all sorts of amenities. Cornerstone Mansion is a wonderful place to stay for a change of pace. Its like your own home and can lay on the couch and watch tv. This place has much history and was built in the 1800s. You can tell things are antique and being... More
