When we first got to Mineral Lodge we checked in through the store connected to the Lodge and the first impression wasn't the greatest, but that changed quickly. The room although not luxorious, was very comfortable and pleasant...Granted, the lodge is aging and need some upkeep, but really can't complain...The setting is quiet and peaceful and convienient to the NP...The... This store was such a great surprise. We stayed in a cabin near by and hadn't had tme to buy all the supplies for meals. This little country store has everything. It is a bit pricier of course than a supermarket in a big city - but we were so pleased to find everything we needed and more! I knew... More

The good thing about the campground is its close and convenient location to the national park. The campground is quiet and in the shadows of the trees. The bad thing about the campground is definitely the bathroom. First, there is just ONE shower and ONE toilet, so if the campground is full this might be a problem. However, the bigger... More

It's not clean. Not the worst, not disgusting, but not clean. Huge plus is in our room there was a king and two single beds. Two nights the kids didn't fight. The kitchenette sink only ran hot. There was a sign to that effect. The shower had some unfinished pipes sticking out. Checkers in the room was a nice touch.... More

I'm really NOT a hotel snob & normally love old places, but this hotel is in DIRE need of maintenance! I realize it's VERY old, but that doesn't mean the owners can't repair the MANY items on the exterior that need help, put on a fresh coat of paint, & fix the problems in the rooms. The screen was missing... More

This is a great location right off Highway 36, just outside Lassen Park. You need to sign in at the store. If closed, go to the restaurant. The rooms are located the opposite direction behind a currently closed gift shop. These older rooms are adequate, but not ADA accessible. Long, sloping walkway up to some stairs that lead up to... The Lassen Mineral Lodge was a pleasant surprise! you drive up and you don't expect much. But the rooms were clean, quiet and large. Thought the added touch of oversized checkers a neat touch. Nice to not hear the blaring of TV's from adjacent rooms. The little diner was always packed but you felt like you were important to them.... More

The Lassen Mineral Lodge is located very conveniently. It is a short drive to the south entrance of the park. The rooms are spacious and clean. In the bathroom there was not so many space to put your stuff. But we would definitely stay there again.

Family-run old fashion diner & lodge with good food - great for filling your belly before hiking in the mountain air! Full bar too! Don't expect gourmet selections but you'll enjoy the serviceable burgers, chicken tenders and homemade soups!

A basic motel; the only reason this motel is still in business is that it is nearest to Lassen Volcanic, without competitors. We were tricked into a more expensive room, because all the other rooms were supposed to be full. We were about the only guests.
