My wife and I spent 3 nights during our Austrian & Southern German holiday with the Renn family and we were welcomed and accepted as genuine guests of their home and the family for our stay. We stayed in the ROMANTIK room on the upper level with a large full length window leading onto a large private balcony looking over... More

this is the second time I've stayed at the hotel around the annual Outdoor tradeshow in Friedrichshafen and the place is great. It's way better suited for a couple's retreat than business - we were a bunch of guys there mainly on a work trip and all i could think was that my wife would love the place - but... More

After a personalised welcome, we were shown our duplex room "Kleiner Prinz". The room as well as the surroundings are arranged with passion to detail. Breakfast is also very extensive, fresh fruit, a large variety of cereals to create your personalised muesli. Very calm situation (surrounded by vineyards), a garden with several small ponds and many corners to relax with... More

Our stay was one of the nicest we have had in many years. We travel extensively and stay in many 4 and 5 star resorts and the cleanliness and wonderful decor and beauty of the hotel is amazing. The owners are warm and friendly and treat you like a family member. The town is an 8 minute or so walk... More

The hotel is located above Bodensee (Lake Constance) in the midst if the (family owned) vineyeards. The location is very quiet and the view is spectacular - a big part of the lake is visible. The rooms on the first floor have the optimal view while the ones on the groundfloor have direct access to the very pretty garden and... More

Pretty Location in vineyard with fab view to the lake. Breakfastroom with stunning views. We stayed in the cheapest room (148€/night) with stylish decor but very uncomfortable mattress and poor bedlinen/duvet. Mr Renn quite a character. Daughter and wife very smiley giving the feeling you are in a soap opera. Bigger rooms are nicer with (hopefully) more comfi beds but... More

We found the Burgunderhof Renn (roughly “Renn Family’s Burgundy Courtyard“) to be one of the most special places that we have ever stayed at. It breathes an atmosphere of calm and healthful living. It would be an ideal base for touring, hiking, biking or just doing nothing. It might be helpful to translate (caution! my German is rudimentary) a few... More
