With no chain properties in the area and a bunch of hotels with poor websites, staying around the Grand Coulee Dam is a gamble at best. It is an older property with some decay on the exterior buildings, and while the rooms have been updated a little in terms of furnishings and appliances, they are far from perfect. The room... More

This was our second stay here because of a visit to the Coulee Dam laser show and because it's about the only game in town. If you want luxury keep on driving. If you want a bare bones place to put up in Coulee Dam, this is the place. There is a great view of the show from the second... More

This is a very terrible place; it definitely needs a good renovation and TLC. We stayed there for just 1 night and got charged for $117.80 for a 2 Queen sized bed with a little tiny balcony; they call it "a room with a view" when in reality you can't really see the laser show at night from the dam.... Not exactly asthetically pleasing on the outside this little place turned out to be an okay option in an area screaming for a hotel chain property. The rugs were a little worse for wear and the furniture a bit dated but the beds were comfortable and the pillows and sheets were clean and fresh. We were in 114 which had... More

We booked a room facing the Casino second floor. Here due to the convenience of the laser light show at 10 PM. The room 1 queen 2nd floor cost $89 for seniors less taxes. For starters the bed was low sided facing the door. My wife kept rolling into me throughout the night. A restless night for her. Probably need... More

My husband liked the dam tour. I thought with the schools all broke, why spend money on a visitor center and tours. The hotel is terrible but took pets. Clerk unable to suggest someplace decent to eat.

We stayed because we wanted to see the light show at night on the dam (which was also disappointing). The hotel was horrible. It was dirty. I didn't feel safe or comfortable. I actually slept in lounge wear on top of the bed spread. The room was very large - that's the only good thing I can say. The pool... More

Paid $140 for our night at the Coulee House Motel, booked more than a month in advance. We arrived to find out that the pool was empty...very disappointing to my 11-year old daughter who had been looking forward all day to a swim! Went to our room, and found a glass of water filled with cigarette butts on the balcony.... More

We had room 322 a large suite with a dam view. The room was very dirty except the beds where very clean and the bathrooms where very clean. But everything else was discusting, I had a 20 month old who is on the floor and very dirty! The room was very poorly taken care of . Things where falling apart... More

We have been coming to the Coulee House over 20 years and the last few it has gone down hill. The prices keep going up (to be expected) but the room conditions and services have gone down. I've been disabled for the last 10 years now and their rooms for the disabled are not any more assessable than any regular... More
