We returned to Les Carmes after two years only to find it better than ever. Mike, Ann, Simon, and James have done wonders with the ongoing renovations since we were there in 2006, and now with all 6 rooms open, this Mas has truly "come into its own." James' culinary creations are as fabulous as ever, wowing an ever growing... more

I booked Les Carmes after reading reviews online and what can i say, i wasn't dissappointed. The whole place was beautiful, with Anne, Mike, James and all the other staff working hard to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. I espcially found james warm and humourous and an incredible cook! The room was beautiful, spacious and a delight to come back... more

Where do I begin ..... Les Crames is just one of those special places that you don't very often find. We booked late and had to change rooms, but in fact that was to our advantage as we were able to stay in the two most wonderful bedrooms we have ever stayed in ... The Top Tower and The Vine... more

Of all the meals we had in Provence, this is the ONE and only dinner that my hubsand mentions when describing the cuisine in Provence! And what a FUN time we had here. This family knows what its doing when it comes to running a B and B- they are warm and lively, and proud of their work- their efforts... more

I must admit I was a bit skeptical after reading all the reviews posted here on TripAdvisor, which rated Les Carmes an exceptional hotel choice. I simply thought, for the price, it was too good to be true. However, upon visiting the Les Carmes website I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. My fiancé and I... more

What superlatives can one offer regarding this little slice of heaven, nestled in the countryside of Provence, that have not previously been proffered by Travelocity reviewers? What praises might I shower that have not already rained down? Let me share this: Without the knowledgable guidence, generously offered by our most congenial hosts, our trip to this most engaging region of... more

I stayed here with my boyfriend for the first few nights of our holiday in Provence. The place was lovely - beautiful gardens, large, spacious rooms, and you the owners were very informative of the local area, friendly and hospitable. The meals in evening were lovely - we're both very passionate about food - and enjoyed them very much. The... more

Beautiful grounds and building set in the countryside. About a 5-10 minute drive from L'isle sur la Sorgue. Really a great staging area to visiting the area. We had a giant room with large windows that had beautiful light and views. Our dinner which was cooked by the owners son was amazing. One of the nights we stayed was a... more

My husband and I along with my sister and her husband stayed at LesCarnes in June 08. The B&B is truly one of the best establishments we've ever stayed. The grounds and buildings are charming. Mike and Ann were gracious hostesses, making everyone feel very welcome and special. We enjoyed Chef James' cuisine two evenings. What wonderful delectable food! I... more

I think my wife's comment sums it up: "I felt like I was in a movie". Les Carmes is a beautiful, tranquil oasis in Provence, a lovely part of France. The accommodations were wonderful and the food, prepared by James, an excellent chef, was superb! The breakfasts were great and the dinners he prepared were absolutely wonderful. But one of... more
