We, a family of eight, hit upon Le Clos Violette by coincidence because the accomodation we had originally booked made a double booking. The couple that run the place we had booked did their best to find an alternative for us. They came up with Le Clos Violette. At first sceptical, because our new accomodation (townhouse in a small town)... More

Just stayed here for a few nights with my husband. It's such a well positioned hotel within the town and actually we didn't leave L'isle sur la Sorgue the few days we were there. There is a car park just yards from the front door that is free to park (I think it's where they have the Sunday market. Our... More

I cannot say enough in praise of this beautiful B&B and it's fantastic owners. We were greeted like visiting friends and offered the obligatory glass of Rose at the table in the huge rustic kitchen. The rooms are fabulous - decorated and furnished in traditional style but with sensitive integration of the modern conveniences. The owners really are delightful and... More

We found Le Clos Violette on line . Staying with friends in Saint Tropez we wanted to visit L'Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue , a two -three hour drive with no traffic difficulties , to visit the antique shops and weekly antique market . Check in was after 4.00 pm at which time we met our hosts Regine and Richard . This charming friendly... More

This mansion is amazing - every room has a different theme, and since my husband and I were travelling with 5 other couples, it was a real treat upon arrival to wander the 2 floors and admire each other's uniquely decorated room. Réjane and Richard are great hosts... in fact, they freed up an extra room (one belonging to a... More

We highly recommend this B&B! The hosts are warm and welcoming and cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful breakfast in the garden, hot milk and coffee (or tea), fresh orange juice, fresh soft bread, flaky croissants, 3 types of delicious homemade jam, yogurt, fruit, various cheeses, and... This is a little hidden gem of an inn in a picturesque town. The owners are very pleasant and welcoming and their home is filled with unique antiques and collectables from all over the world. They have curated them into different rooms, each with a bit of a theme. The rooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are equally spacious... More

We arrived, 12 wet cycling buddies and no luggage in our rooms! We were greeted by our lovely host Reine. "Oh my!"she gasped as the thunder rang in the background ! Come in and I will make you a hot cup of tea! We entered her beautiful home dripping wet. We felt bad but she welcomed us! We toured this... More

I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights with our cycling group. We all had the most fabulous rooms. Each very large and uniquely decorated with fine antiques and gorgeous textiles. Rejane and Richard were very welcoming and helpful with our dinner plans and sightseeing excursions. Fresh bread and croissants daily with home made preserves and coulis for... More

The guest rooms are in the main house and are lovely. They are furnished beautifully and the house itself is gorgeous. Each piece of furniture and art looks like it has been carefully selected. Rejanne makes a delicious breakfast with her home made jams and other delicious fruit coulis. They make one feel very welcome. This is our second time... More
