#1 is the staff. Manager is extremely knowledgeable of the town and its surroundings... housekeeping staff is wonderful...always going the extra step and the room was immaculate. My wife and i have always stayed at the sands because we always got the same room we requested that way we felt like it was our home away from home. A good option for those not wanting to stay in Las Vegas itself. We were forced here due to the NASCAR weekend and although the rooms are simple they are clean and the property well looked after. The staff were friendly. Only simple muffins, coffee and juice provided for 'breakfast'. Overall I recommend this for travelling groups of all types. more

We had car problems and we stopped overnight. It was recommended by the repair shop. It was a nice and clean motel. The management staff were very nice and friendly, especially Suzanne and Patrick! Boulder City is a nice quiet town. Thank you so much! more

On Oct 13, '05, we spent a night at this pleasant little clean motel. The checkin lady was very kind, our room was extremely clean and tidy, parking was easy and secure. Restaurants are within easy walking distance and it felt very safe and comfortable. We would recommend using the Sands Motel as a stopover accomodation to anyone. more
