We stayed in Boulder City while we were vacationing cross country. This location is great, just minutes away from Hoover Dam and Las Vegas. #1 is the staff. Manager is extremely knowledgeable of the town and its surroundings... housekeeping staff is wonderful...always going the extra step and the room was immaculate. Location, right on the "strip" of this delightful town. Cleanest, most affordable place to stay in BC. IM COMING BACK! more

My wife and i have always stayed at the sands because we always got the same room we requested that way we felt like it was our home away from home. We preety much had the same adjenda picked out...... At 6pm we would have dinner at the evans oldtime grill and then we would go the next street over... more

A good option for those not wanting to stay in Las Vegas itself. We were forced here due to the NASCAR weekend and although the rooms are simple they are clean and the property well looked after. The staff were friendly. Only simple muffins, coffee and juice provided for 'breakfast'. Overall I recommend this for travelling groups of all types. more

We had car problems and we stopped overnight. It was recommended by the repair shop. It was a nice and clean motel. The management staff were very nice and friendly, especially Suzanne and Patrick! Boulder City is a nice quiet town. Thank you so much! more

On Oct 13, '05, we spent a night at this pleasant little clean motel. The checkin lady was very kind, our room was extremely clean and tidy, parking was easy and secure. Restaurants are within easy walking distance and it felt very safe and comfortable. We would recommend using the Sands Motel as a stopover accomodation to anyone. more

Very small room with noisy a/c, lousy t.v., lots of street noise, bad bed. Won't go back. more
