I visited Boulder City to see the Dam and kayak the Colorado. The Boulder City Hotel staff was welcoming, very warm and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The 1930s-color stylings of the tile in the (thoroughtly modern) bathroom fit the ambiance of the hotel perfectly. If you're looking for the effusive "elegance" you'll see in Las Vegas, look... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Boulder Dam Hotel. The room was clean, beds comfortable and the essential air con system not noisy. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast good. Our flight was delayed so we telephoned the hotel from the airport. They were very reassuring about keeping the room. In the event we did not arrive until 10pm... more

We stayed here as a one night stop off between Death Valley and Hoover Dam, and it was absolutely perfect - a great antidote to the noise/glitz of Vegas and a well run, small friendly hotel. Stayed in a single (ie one small double room), small but cosy with a lovely little bathroom. Didn't make it to the museum but... more

We stopped here for one night on our way to Vegas and its the perfect place for a quiet night. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff we very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amongst the best we had during our three weeks in the USA. We really enjoyed the on-site museum and shops and the town of... more

I have stayed at the Boulder Dam Hotel twice within the last month or so. From the moment I walked in I knew I had made a great choice. The entry and lobby area were gorgeous and they were only surpassed by the hospitality and graciousness of the innkeeper. I have never encountered such an engaging and personable reception. The... more

Hoover Dam is very close to this hotel, is why we stayed here two nights, the staff was very helpful, the rates were great which included a wonderful sit down breakfast, I would love to go back and would stay here again. more

We stayed one night at this hotel and were very comfortable. Bedding was good and bed was good, good size room and TV and bathroom...business center in a separate room. Hotel was very quiet and clean and hot breakfast was included which was excellent (cooked to order). Beautiful lobby in which to sit and a front porch to watch the... more

We stayed at the Boulder Dam Hotel for one night before flying out of Vegas. The hotel was representative of the town - so quiet it's eerie with a crumbling grandeur that is like taking a trip back to the 1940s. The reception staff were very friendly, helping with fixing my broken bag and directions to the airport. The room... more

We stayed here for a one night stopover while travelling down to Palm Springs. Although we were a little bit early, they found a room for us (we must have looked tired!). Great staff on reception. We asked for advice on where to eat and they gave us a number of recommendations according to what we liked. We had a... more

We stayed at the Boulder Dam hotel for one night as we were driving from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. It was very nice to get just outside of Vegas and find such a historic hotel. My husband, daughter and I had adjoining rooms. It worked out very nice because we had some privacy while my daughter was safely... more
