We were advised that the lines at the Hoover Dam get longer as the day progresses and that it is best to arrive early in the morning. We flew into Las Vegas the night before and drove to Boulder City for the night, staying at the Boulder Dam Hotel. A wonderful little place with a LOT of history going back... More

I have never stayed at an historic hotel before and really didn't know if I would like it, but it was number one on TA and had excellent reviews. It was very quaint. Our check in was easy and it was nice having an elevator to get our bags up to our room. The lobby was huge and was like... More

This hotel is a little piece of history, perfectly located it gives you a really nice break from the hectic Las Vegas life. I used it as a pit stop between the Death Valley and the Grand Canyon. Small room (but again it's old and that is part of the charm), prompt reservation and kind service. Bottom line: history at... More

My husband and I spent a week traveling through Nevada and California between Reno and Las Vegas. We wanted a nice, quiet place to stay our last night and chose the Boulder Dam Hotel. What a find! It was by far the nicest place we stayed. The rooms are a little small, but the bed was wonderful and the shower... More

We had a suite for $89 and it was the best room of our one week tour of Nevada and Utah. We stayed at some great places, but none better than this, and all were twice the price. Charming little town, equally charming lobby, wonderful staff (from some sitcom now in re-runs), and the room, well siting room, separet kitchen,... More

We spent two nights at the Boulder Dam Hotel and enjoyed the hotel and Boulder City. Like most historical hotels, Boulder Dam Hotel has smaller rooms and small bathrooms, but overall the room was comfortable and very clean. The best part of staying here is the location - right in the center of a lovely historical district. Several good restaurants... More

We stayed 3 nights here, the staff was super friendly and it included free breakfast, not continental, but a full breakfast, 8 choices I believe with good portions. There is also a museum inside [free to guests] detailing the building of the Hoover Dam only 3 mules away. I subtracted a star only because of the small rooms. Not a... More

Stayed at the Boulder Dam hotel on our way up to Zion NP arrived on a Monday so not much open in this quiet Western town. The hotel was really nice if not great ... Rooms were spacious and clean ... Fittings maybe a little dated. However check-in was easy and friendly .breakfast disappointing . Would we stay there again?... More

This is not a hotel where you are going to find modern amenities. However, you will find charm and a great location. No coffee in the rooms, a tub shower combination which is kind of tough to stand in as it is curved and there is nothing to hold on, an air conditioner in your room which will drip moisture... More

Fabulous to return to the Boulder Dam Hotel -suite 217 - the place is full of original charm and lovely to sit out front with a coffee and watch the world ( but very quiet world) go by - opposite restaurants and antiques shops - LOVE IT - delicious breakfast included in our room rate and also free entry to...
