We found the experience lovely- from arrival the staff were friendly and informative. The room was fairly basic in terms of decoration and amenities although there was free Wi-fi access in our room! A very clean, historic establishment. Awesome value for a quite, two room suite. This is in the heart of OLD BC. Area was great for a night time stroll with many dining choices with in two blocks. When we travel we try not to stay at big box hotel/motels and go for more unique settings. We had a very nice 2 night stay. Staff was friendly...we stayed in a Suite room....was nice...not luxurious..but clean and pleasant. The lobby is beautiful, and the breakfast was very good. more

I loved this place, we only stayed one night but thoroughly enjoyed its charm, oldey worldeyness comfort and location. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely furnished but bathroom very small, not that well equipped ( lack of towel rail and shelf space ) and a little old around the edges.
