Except for the friendly staff I'd give this place a one! It was really bare bones and not that inexpensive. We were on the way to Lake Mead for a day of fishing and sightseeing at Hoover Dam (both great trips by the way!) The hotel was a major disappointment. I've stayed in lots of Best Westerns in out of... more

We stayed here in January 2009. The motel is a bit east of BC on the road to Hoover Dam. The pool was not heated at the time, which is understandable, but unfortunately neither was the spa. There is minimal landscaping but the motel is in good condition overall. Our room was large with a good king size bed. Breakfast... more

At our first day out of Las Vegas, after staying a week at Harrah's, a colleauge and I went to the Hoover dam. We asked the GPS for motels near the Hoover Dam and after being sent on a wild goose chase in the Lake Meade Recreational Area, we backtracked and ended up in Best Western Lighthouse. The Asian guy... more

I had to go to Boulder City. I usually look for a hotel with a fitness center and amenities. This had none. Kind of run down although it was somewhat clean. I would probably look elsewhere. The photo on the internet is somewhat fictional. more

Stayed here for 1 night as we'd stayed an extra day in LV and being friday night could find nowhere to stay. However, saw this place on the way back from our Grand Canyon trip. Not cheap at $145 incl taxes etc, but we were very happy to have a decent room for the night. It was actually a very... more

We stayed here on the way north last spring. It was somewhat less than OK. The air conditioner could not keep up with 105 degrees, and two story walk up in that heat was awful. The water tasted worse than bad- bitter, so it was not a great stay. Coming back, we were forced into a stay there due to... more

We stayed at the Best Western Lighthouse in Boulder City Nevada for one night, October 6/07. We arrived just before 10 p.m. and had no problem checking in at all. We were on the third floor so it was a bit of a haul with our suitcases up the stairs but not a big deal. The room was very large... more

We stayed at the Best Western Lighthouse Inn from March 29th thru March 31st 2007. This hotel is not in the main part of town but rather near the entrance to Lake Mead Recreation Area and Hoover Dam on highway 95. It is still close to town. Check in was speedy! Front desk clerks were friendly. We got a 3rd... more
