The rooms were clean and nice, but for some reason the wifi would not work at all. We have never had this problem before so we were disappointed but overall it was a good, unique place to stay. The reception was also quite friendly. It would be great if there were a coffee/tea maker in the room. Beautiful, quiet setting... More

My grandson and I had a reservation at the motel across the street from El Rancho Boulder Motel. We arrived late in the day and wanted to see the room. After looking at the room I could tell my grandson was very nervous about its shabiness, smell and overall dirt. We then went to dinner and he said he was... More

We stayed here one night as an alternative to Vegas before a flight and were very pleased. The front desk lady was more than accommodating and get this- my son left his beloved blankie behind and in a complete panic (I was sure it was gone forever) I called the motel 12 hours after we left and they still had... Rated this place based on what it is...an older roadside motel. Having said that we found it to be very clean both inside & out. Furniture & carpet a little worn but no stains or dirt and our room was a 'dog room' so the regular rooms are no doubt better although this one was fine for a short stay.... More

Good location and if you are headed to Hoover Dam and a nice walkable town. We stayed here based on recommendations on this website last June, 2013. The bathroom was clean but the furniture and rug were not, the sheets were ripped and the plastic sheeting under the sheets was uncomfortable. A dirty decorative pillow set atop the clean pillow... Have been staying here of and on since the 70's. My work used to put me in this area quite a bit. Finally began to avoid the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas and Boulder City became my stopover spot. This Motel my favorite. It's still clean and everything works. Plenty of good enough restaurants. Easy in and easy out.

Really nice rooms, really clean, great friendly service. We would stay there again, but would ask to be put where the long term linemen were not staying....... The lady who checked us in was super friendly, as promised, no chemical odor smells, so no headache, great park nearby to walk yourself and/or your dogs!!!! Very near great restaurants and stores....to... More

We needed a night in Boulder City for our visit to Boulder Dam. On recommendations found on TA I took the chance and booked 2 rooms at El Rancho (we were 2 couples) . The motel looks like it has not changed since the 1960's, and yet the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. It was fun to slow down... More

Was here on business for a few weeks. Hotel is nice and staff is friendly. Only problems I had were that the Wi-Fi rarely works. Motel office manager told me to call tech support to sort it out which I felt that should of been there responsibility. I did call and dealt with the tech support people for 2 days... More

Historical motel and one of the better places to stay in Boulder City. Recommend and we would stay there again. Large room priced at a reasonable level. Service was good....albeit at a motel standard. Kitchenette attached, however we did not use. The rooms our group had could use an update in terms of carpeting and and furnishings and are the...
