4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed there for 6 nights in July. The rooms were spacious by European standards, the bathroom was modern and well equipped, water pressure was GREAT and the entire hotel was very clean. We regularly would grab food from the village and sit out in the courtyard with our bottle of wine enjoying the lovely setting. We really enjoyed the... More

As a family of five we stayed here for one night on our way to the coast. We had a junior suite to accommodate us all, which was a fair size. Room was pretty, bathroom nice , with lots of toiletries provided. There was wifi , but very intermittent and slow. The hotel itself was in the most beautiful setting.... More

This hotel has a beautiful setting. The Sorgue River flows through the gardens and under the lobby while dramatic cliffs make a lovely backdrop. Having a drink and going for a swim was very refreshing after a warm day spent sightseeing. Our room had an oblique view of the cliffs. There was a queen size bed, a desk and a... More

A dream place, nature, culture, history in one of the most beautiful places on earth! Great service, charming rooms and dream garden. Highly recommended. Way above their three stars. Quiet and colorful. The owners also have a great winery. Try their rosé and their Chateaneuf du Pape.

We stayed there for 10 days. The service was very good. Jerome, especially, was our guide to everything we wanted: restaurants, good places to visit. Very helpful and nice. Our room, called "Melodie" was decorated with musical instruments and the curtains and the blanket were also with musical printing. The bathroom was bigger than most of the other In Europe.... More

The hotel we found to be idyllic... We had a 'Melodie' grade room, looking out to the garden area and beyond to the castle and hills. The accommodation was superb and the staff were excellent and 'went the extra mile' to be helpful, particularly Jerome who made you feel very welcome! Breakfast was first class, with a wide variety of... More

All you'd expect and more in a beautiful setting in one of the loveliest villages in France. We've stayed elsewhere in FV but nothing beats this. We fell asleep to the music of the water below at night. You'll never forget your stay here. Again--wow.

Hotel du Poete is a moderate but charming hotel. It is well located and the outdoor area provides a tranquil setting with its stream and nice pool area. The rooms are varied including attic style (a little tricky to stand up in places). We were overall very happy with our stay at this nice hotel.

We had a lovely large room, with old furniture and books overlooking the front of the hotel and listened to the sound of running water ( originally it was a mill) during the night.A peaceful atmosphere to his hotel.

This is a quiet, charming hotel tucked away from the town center but steps away from shops and restaurants. I stayed in a large, 3rd floor room facing the courtyard. It was very comfortable with a desk, large bath/shower and charming decor. The staff was especially accommodating and kind. There is an elevator, wifi throughout the property, lobby bar and... More
