We found a great hotel that offers a great Alaskan experience. Rooms were clean, good location, service was more than we expected. This hotel is unique as it is constructed out of logs and gives that true Alaskan flavor. Has everything you need when traveling. Had a good experience. Hotel was close to Airport. Very concienient Airport shuttle, breakfast included waffels. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very knowledgeable about the area. I would recomend this Hotel! more

The temperature was around 80F and when asked how to turn on the air conditioner, we were told to open the windows. 2 of the 4 windows did not have screens and we were on the 1st floor (very unsettling security wise). We stayed here for 2 nights before a cruise on May 18. The hotel is located in Anchorage and convenient to everything. The hotel is not perfect by any means but is average. This is a budget place. Didn't expect much and it was just a basic room, kinda funny shaped - was long and narrow - and had wireless internet. Hallways were very dingy, room was a bit better. more

While moving up to Anchorage, our original plans fell through; everywhere was booked for the most part, and few hotels up here take small pets (for us, a dog).
