We used the reviews here on TripAdvisor to choose this hotel- it's popularity index was very high, and we found that to be correct. We stayed two nights at the start of our trip to Alaska, and we would stay there again the next time we travel to Alaska. We were a party of six, ages 7 through 77. We... more

Stayed one night at this location on 14 July 2007. Clean, comfortable and spacious room had two double beds in the sleeping area plus a small sofa and chair in the living/kitchenette area. Kitchenette includes fridge and coffeepot. Bathroom sink is outside the bathroom itself. Bathroom is large. Breakfast area next to lobby entrance. Could make your own waffles, or... more

We stayed at the Springhill Suites for a total of four days on two separate occasions during our Alaska vacation. I have no complaints about the hotel itself or room accommodations, but found my interactions with the front-desk staff to be less than ideal. On the whole I found them to be uninformed and generally unhelpful. For example, upon checking... more

I recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites while in town for the Mayor's Midnight Sun Marathon. The staff were well set-up for our group, and other travelers who were also attending the marathon. The self-serve breakfast was great, especially the make-your-own waffle iron. The lounge area was a good place to wait for our travel companions, and there were two... more

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Arrived in Anchorage at 11pm and hotel was easy to find from the airport. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Plentiful continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. more

After staying at the Anchorage Marriott for the last few trips, we decided to try another area of town. Downtown traffic makes it hard to get anywhere easily. Also, I needed to work part of the time, so a suite seemed like a better option with the additional space. The SpringHill Midtown location is convenient to Seward Hwy and 36th... more

I absolutely loved my two night stay at this hotel. The only thing I would say is that they need to turn up the temperature in the pool, but that's the only thing unsatisfactory at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, with large picture windows, a sink separated from the bathroom, a sitting area with a second TV.... more

We stayed at the Spring Hill Suites four nights in August using the hotel as a base for trips to Denali, Seward, etc. This hotel is so well maintained. The rooms are spacious and so clean. The staff was so courteous and helpful. Loved the bedding, so comfy and clean. The breakfast that is included with the room was sensational.... more

Stayed at Springhill Suites Midtown Anchorage on August 21, 25, 31, 2006. Cannot say enough good things about the staff and facility. Rooms were clean, and breakfast (included) was excellent. While away from downtown, there are a number of good restaurants in the area. Hotel is also reasonably close to shopping and highways. more

This is an older Springhill Suites by Marriott and has many pluses and minuses. On the plus side, the staff is super-friendly, the room was clean, the continental breakfast is very good, with an excellent selection, and it has a two computer business center not usually found in this chain. It is located next to a 16 screen movie theater... more
