I thought this was a nice hotel. Anchorage is really overpriced so I am glad we got a discount by "naming our own price". The float planes out back were interesting. Might be even more fun to fly in with your own float plane for the night. We were able to use the free internet at the neighboring hotel by... more

After a wonderful cruise from Seward to Vancouver on the Celebrity Millennium, we relaxed at the Millennium in Anchorage. Great hotel. Staff was very helpful and our room was great. OUTSTANDING location on lake in Anchorage. We watched the float planes take off & land on our last night there. more

What the hotel has going for it is location. It has great views of Lake Spenard and is situated next to the world's largest float-plane runway in the world. The hotel is in need of some renovation. more

Stayed at the Millennium in Anchorage on Business. Had breakfast at the restaurant and it is a little over priced for what i'm used to at $3 dollar for a cup of coffee but the Seafood benedict was tasty. They have a free shuttle to airport and to downtown which is nice it drops you off at the mall...right in... more

We had a great stay at the Millennium. The hotel decor is very Alaskan and after staying in a couple new box hotels it was a great change. We were a little leary of staying here after seeing mixed reviews but this is the best hotel I have found in Anchorage. Beautiful spot on the lake. more

I was very worried about staying here after reading the bad reviews, but booked thru priceline (at half the rate for other hotels downtown) and could not cancel. We were very impressed with the front desk staff and the room. It was on the first floor and newly renovated... comfortable beds, two sinks and a fridge. We were very happy... more

My wife and I had a room on the second floor. The room smelled, the rug was filthy and the mattress lumpy. The hotel (and I use the word loosely) is very close to the airport, another negative unless you are a flight crew. This hotel is rated by some online travel services as 3.5 stars, which is a complete... more

I had prepaid for a Club Room on Expedia and when I arrived I found out there were no such rooms, only vague amenities. The front desk didn't want to give me any of these (breakfast vouchers) because they didn't feel I had paid a high enough room rate! After complaining to the manager, she gave me a couple of... more

Before departing for Alaska, I read the many reviews about this hotel. After reading the many negative reviews, I was very nervous about my stay, which I couldn't cancel because I booked on Priceline. I was pleasantly surprised by my very comfortable accomodations. The room was lovely, clean with all the up-to-date ammenities. The food in the restaurant was fabulous.... more

My husband and I stayed at the Millennium Alaskan for five nights in June. If you can get a good price online, it's an okay hotel. It seems like a place that must have been grand in its heyday (the '70s, maybe), but hasn't been updated since. One major travel book (think it was Fodor's) said things were a bit... more
