I would recommend this hotel, unless you are wanting a really special stay, it is ok for vacation and one night stays. The hotel is nice, and has character, could be a really great experience. I think facility and the staff would be the biggest components in creating atmosphere and experience - they didn't seem to try too hard. We... more

I bidded on 3.5+ star hotel with priceline and they returned this dump. The Millenium goup only gives their own hotel 3 stars while priceline gives it 3.5. This is a joke. Don't waste your time with either. The Motel 6 got much higher ratings for a lower price, plus the location is better. My price was $130/nt and I... more

This hotel has a great location and some really good attitude going for it, but falls far short of its potential. The drab, dark, dated rooms, small beds and over priced restaurant make for a disappointing stay. The free shuttle from the airport worked fine, but the shuttle to downtown does not start until 11 am and only runs a... more

We recently stayed at the Millenium on our week long vacation to Alaska. I'm glad it was only for one night. It was not what I expected. I'm not sure where they shot the picture for their advertising but it sure isn't an accurate depiction. I was very disappointed. The hallways were very shabby and maze like. The elevators were... more

We bought a room on Priceline, which apparently considers this a downtown hotel. It is not. You can see the airport from the hotel. After reading other reviews I was concerned about what we'd find. We were pleasantly surprised. Our room was recently remodeled and was attractive, spacious and comfortable. Accoutrements included a loveseat, which made relaxing in the room... more

I stayed 10 days during March 2009 for the Iditarod. This hotel has even gotten worst in just the last year. I can deal with old furniture, windows and heating systems, but it really needs a good cleaning. For 248 rooms on 4 floors, only the 2 lobby elevators were working. The others were out of order the entire time.... more

This was my worst stay of the year and agree with many of the negative reviews written. Upon entering my room I knew I was doomed when I saw an AC unit in the window -- I can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel without central AC. The room is extremely outdated and in desperate need to... more

There were so many things that were wrong with my stay at this hotel (particularly given the price) that I am just going to list them. Some of these problems are things I would have been willing to overlook if the overall experience had been better but in light of my poor experience, I list them all: 1. The elevators... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Millennium Alaskan Hotel in Anchorage this past June for 3 nights. The website made the hotel, rooms and grounds look very picturesque, and at almost 300 dollars a night, we thought it was going to be a decent place. In reality, this entire hotel needs a massive overhaul. The rooms are off to... more

So after paying over $250 for a hotel room me and my family check into our surprisingly tiny room and proceed to try to check our email. This would turn into one of the most difficult struggles we've ever come across from a "luxury" hotel. We were first a little shocked to discover that the internet in the rooms was... more
