This is an odd mixture of good and bad. From excessive noise to ripped furniture, to original art and a convenient location near the airport. In short, you could be lucky and get a nice room or you could be unlucky. I say it is a gamble, especially for light sleepers. First the good: Great lobby, with life-sized stuffed polar... More

After reading the reviews on here I was trepidatious about staying, but it was only for one night so we decided to risk it. I'm glad I did! The hotel is very nice and clean, it seems freshly renovated so perhaps many of the older concerns are no longer valid. The lobby has various animals that have been hunted and... More

This was a 3 star hotel on Priceline. There are a lot of subpar 3 star hotels in Anchorage, but this one is a decent hotel. I would recommend staying there. The only major negative is that it needs to be renovated in terms of new carpet and a fresh look in the rooms. They were clean, just outdated looking.... More

We checked into the Millennium and were given room 4063. The outstanding points of the Millennium are the restaurant, the bar and grill and the lake view. The problems we encountered in our room were: • desk chair that was unsafe and in very poor condition • Closet door not attached to the folding track, because it was broken •... More

We trusted a Hotwire blind pick and found this hotel nice, and comfortable. It was an overnight for us until our cruise began. Absolutely GREAT breakfasts. Best ever biscuits and gravy. Fun watching the seaplanes take off and land from their sunny deck. Good staff. Very clean hotel. Free shuttle bus to an from a/p and to downtown Anchorage.

We stayed here for one night (June 13, 2014) as part of a cruise package. I was a little concerned about some of the reviews, but I must say that our experience was very good. The interior of the hotel looks like a lodge rather than a plain hotel. It is very appealing. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.... More

Our Anchorage host was not ready for us, so at 1am, after a 5 hour flight, we were able to book a room at the Millennium. Great! After a short nights sleep, we decided to stay another night.. It was arranged with the front desk, and all was well. We had lunch at the hotel, in the outdoor area, since... More

For the price and reputation, this place was beyond sad and tired as well as beat-up. The bottoms of doors were ragged!! Stains and rug tears in main hallways! Furniture banged up, scratched, and dented! Some of these things are easy to fix, so why don't they replace doors and furniture at the very least. PRO: Bed was comfortable. But... More

Initially disappointed that our tour changed us from the Clarion Hotel, we were happy campers by the time we left. Outside of the a/c problem mentioned by Kim B, the beds were comfy & the room large. The staff at this hotel is superb from the front desk to the restaurant, and I would rate their concierge an A++! No... More

We stayed at this hotel in late May on our Alaska vacation. The room was hot, stuffy and very humid, 74 degrees. Terrible air quality in the entire hotel, except the restaurant. They had an old box style air conditioning unit in the window in our room, it was no help cooling the room down and was extremely loud-- this... More
