The bathroom was clean ; as was the bed linen ...and there was a free shuttle to/from the airport with a kind gentleman driver. Unfortunately these, the only positive comments I can make about this accommodation. I booked an Alaskan cruise at the last minute, which departed from Anchorage and needed a bed for a very short stay. ( My... More

If can pay a little more to stay further west in downtown then do it. Holes in carpet. Bathroom fan not working. Dim light over sink. Older looking hotel and room. Bed was clean. Mattress seemed old. Not really the most pleasant side of downtown. Lots of walking to get to the fun stuff in downtown but this place will... More

After all the negative reviews on TripAdvisor, I was nervous about staying here. My husband and I bought our room on Priceline, so we were kind of stuck with it. We stayed here one night before heading up to Denali National Park for a week of camping. Our room was clean, the staff were polite and helpful, and the location... More

At one time this might have been an acceptable hotel. Maybe the 1970s? Rooms are dated with carpet that you want to leave shoes on at all times. Comforter was worn and looked like it would match with a 70s veneer panelling. The staff were slow but not unpleasant once you were finally accommodated. The lobby is dark and dank... More

We honeymooned in Alaska and spent 2 non-consecutive nights at the GuestHouse. The staff were very friendly, helpful, knowledgable, answered lots of our questions. The rooms were not fancy, but they were clean and well-kept. The curtains were about 90% in blocking out evening sun; we were hoping for a true black-out curtain due to the summertime sun. The shuttle... More

Rooms are large and comfy, hotel has a good location close to dowtown. It also offers free shuttle to the airport. Given the high prices in Anchorage it is a good value for money. The staff is very helpull

Understanding everything is high is Alaska during the summer, this hotel was the best deal. Even with that in consideration, the beds (double) were a little worn out but it was more the daylight creeping in that made sleeping a challenge. Some better block out curtains would help. Most hotels do offer a continental breakfast for the price of this... More

We have stayed there a few times and the staff are always very accommodating and helpful. The airport shuttle is convenient and prompt. The downtown location is great for the price. Overall they have great service, a great location, and at a very reasonable price.

The room was nice. We had construction on the street just below our window. They started at 7am making it impossible to sleep after that. The free hotel parking was a huge plus and I would choose this location again if I had business in downtown Anchorage. A continental buffet would have made the stay better. Going to a restaurant...
