Large, but even with all rooms sold out, it didn't feel crowded. Excellent hot/cold breakfast buffet. Free internet access computer in the lobby (one) with first come, first serve access. Easy walking access to visitor center and 4th street (ave?) shopping. Big clean rooms. more

After a 14 hour day closing up house in Anchorage we were looking forward to our reserved king suite with separate sitting area and Jacuzzi tub. What we got was a standard room with a sofa crammed into one end of the room, what.. this is the separate sitting area?? We looked for the Jacuzzi tub and after opening a... more

Firstly the pre-booked free airport shuttle was a bonus and our driver was bright and offered helpful advice on what to do/where to eat around Anchorage. She even took us for a bit of a tour enroute to the hotel. Hotel staff were polite & efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was those trains...they sounded their horns... more

We had come up mid June 2008 for a ladys get way 'week' from Texas. The hotel was clean, flowers outside, Alaska themed hotel, great breakfast, lobby staff and cant say ebough about how clean it was once again. We Were picked up by the drive Kile. He seemed like he knew what he was talking about. Everything he had... more

Snowstorms across the country fouled our travel plans home on the backside of a business trip. We were supposed to be out of Anchorage by the 21st and ended up not being able to get a flight out of town until Christmas Day. We were looking for a clean simple property to hole up in for a few days. Ramada's... more

When it says pet friendly on the web site it means dogs only. So leave your cat at home. The continental breakfast was o.k. but tiresome after 1 day (we were there for 6). The rooms smelt like mildew but was relatively clean. We had very little interaction with the staff, and I never did get any sort of apology... more

We had orignaly booked the weekend at the Loghouse and after showing up at that dump were desperate to find a new hotel and stumbled upon the Ramada. First off it is a older hotel with a recent remodel (which is pretty nice) this year. Most tour books and even locals don't know it's there, so the price for us... more

This place is a dump. I'm not sure where the other posters stayed but we took their word for it and booked this hotel for an overnight before our cruise. The hotel is falling apart. Noisy. And I didn't quite feel safe in the neighborhood. It is a ways from downtown in a rundown area. The room smelled of smoke... more

This hotel is OK and about the only thing we could get traveling to Anchorage during the height of tourist season. One bit of advice is to not let them put you in one of the rooms in the back of the hotel if possible. There's a train that runs through blowing its horn constantly on its way through at... more
