We stayed 10 nights, using the Redoubt room, the Denali Suite, & the Susitna Suite. The location is ideal for walking downtown for shopping & dining. The house was lovely and immaculately clean. Breakfasts were great, with lots of options and a fabulous view. Rates were extremely reasonable, and the owner, Linda, was very kind and helpful. She was a... More

Beautiful views, convenient location, and Linda was an excellent hostess! Breakfast was diverse and delicious, and I appreciated her selection of teas. Denali and Susitna rooms have great views of the Cook Inlet. Try to get a room with a private bath. The shared bath was clean, but I just like having my own.

The accomodation itself was good- clean rooms, good service by the nice and attentive owner, clean bathrooms. The breakfast was very good and tasty. The views from the main living room/balcony area are awesome. It is a little tricky to get to if you've never been to anchorage (we ended up down the hill on our initial taxi ride) but... More

We stayed one night after arriving on the Aurora Winter train, so it was a brief stay. The property is right in downtown Anchorage with a beautiful view of Cook Inlet and the Alaska range. You can even see Denali from the deck, which conveniently faces north, if the aurora should be out. We seem to be the only guests,... More

We stayed in this B&B on three separate occasions during a month criss-crossing Alaska. The location is close enough to downtown to walk, yet the neighborhood is set apart and very peaceful and quiet. Linda, the host, is wonderful, offering great suggestions on things to do and see, where to eat, and how to get around. We had one of... More

We reserved a night in the Foraker room at the beginning of our trip to Alaska, and the Denali Room at the end of our trip. We were graciously upgraded to the Denali room for the first night. This room has a sitting area with a very comfortable love seat at the foot of the bed across from a heater/fireplace.... More

We spent two relaxing nights at the Susitna Place Bed and Breakfast in Anchorage. We booked the Suitna Suite which included a king bed, living room, and private patio. For a very fair price, we received many amenities: excellent bay and mountain views, tasteful breakfast with delicious jams and reindeer sausage, a very hospitable innkeeper-Linda, free WiFi, numerous cable channels... We had a nice room that had two double beds in it, would have preferred one queen size as we are both tall but it wasn't a problem. Everything was clean and the bathroom was good with plenty of hot water. Linda gave us the heads up on booking somewhere for dinner asap and luckily we managed to find a... More

I'm a bit late in submitting this review, as we stayed at Susitna Place for 5 nights in July 2013. We stayed 1 night in the Denali Suite, and the other 4 nights in the Susitna Suite. I cannot imagine a better accommodation for our visit to Anchorage. We especially liked the Susitna Suite, it provided a comfortable and spacious... More

Stayed at this lovely B & B for two nights. Linda is a great host, very knowledgeable about anchorage, great restaurant recommendations. The views from the lounge of the bay are great, the house is very relaxed, tea and coffee available all day, excellent breakfast. Left my luggage with Linda while on a cruise for a week, she was very... More
