What an incredible find. Usually stay at downtown hotels for double the price - for under $150 I received a quiet 2 bedroom apartment with laundry facilties and unadvertised internet. The hostess was knowledgeable on sightseeing, gave me a walking map to the ocean trail for jogging, and provided witty Alaskan political insights from personal experience as a former commissioner.... more

Raspberry Meadows is in a safe and quiet neighborhood located within walking distance of downtown and the Tony Knowles hiking/biking/cross-country ski trails on the Cook Inlet. I must admit this was one of the most deplorable and bizzare lodgings I have ever experienced, right out af an Alfred Hitchcock movie.
